Downtown Value Inn
Downtown Value Inn is a miserable little hotel in Portland, OR. It is very cheap and ok if you want to spend a night there because of traveling other wise don't even think of going there. It is the worst under maintained hotel in the whole of Oregon that is what I think I don't know about others. It is an absolute waste of money and certainly not hygienic. The parking lot is underneath the building which a real bad thing. The pillars that are there make it parking a very irritating and frustrating job. This place is good if you want... read full review »
Pickwick Hotel
The following is a letter I wrote to Pickwick Hotel back in July, 2009 and have never heard back from them on this issue. We made reservations to stay in the Pickwick Hotel in Custer, SD because the directory said the hotel was new, had laundry facilities and we were told that they allowed pets. When we arrived on June 12 we were informed that the hotel had only been opened for 4 weeks, the manager had decided pets were not allowed but they made an exception because we had made prior reservations. The laundry facilities were not operable so we... read full review »
Cabana Motel
I often go for business trips to Portland, OR. Almost every time I stay at Cabana Motel. I found that hotel to be very convenient for me. But the last time I was there, this time my wife had come along we had the most awful experience. We checked in and headed straight for our room. We entered in, settled down and left because we had to get something to eat. We went out and came back tired. We washed up and were almost about to sleep but were taken aback by what we saw. When we lifted the sheets from the bed there were blood stains on it. We... read full review »
Montavilla Motel
I was a regular at Montavillla when I used to come for business sake. I used o like to go here as it was the most convenient one. The rooms were quite good and clean. I used to always come with my husband. We always got the same room. The last time I came here we did not get the same room because the room which we got was already booked. So we asked them to give us another room. They gave us the room next to it. When we entered the room it was totally messed up. I went to the counter and asked for the manager. I told him what the problem wa... read full review »
Sundance Vacations (TAN Vacations)
My girlfriend and I were completely mislead when we signed up for TAN vacations. At the time that we attended one of their information sessions, we were concerned about the economy and if we would be able to finance this vacation package, if God forbid, either one of us were laid off. We were told flat out by the sales representative that if we need to cancel the vacation package, all we would have to do is simply write a letter to the headquartersexplaining the situation and our contract would be terminated. We were told that we would not be... read full review »
Country Inn & Suites by Carlson-Pensacola
I booked a room for two nights through Expedia. When I arrive at the hotel about 3:00 PM I found out they did not allow pets. On the main page from Expedia there was no mention of the no pets.
The hotel said they have had that problem with Expedia in the past. They have refused to refund my money. Expedia won't refund my money because the hotel is claiming it.
I should have been able to cancel the reservation, because it was before four or five. Also they should not have to keep the money for two days, at the most just... read full review »

Holiday Inn Prattville Al
I normally stay at the holiday inn prattville al. 2-3 days a week and have for almost 6 months. Needless to say everyone that works the front desk knows my face, if not me by name. I have a special rate of 75.00 per night and was charged 115.15 for thursday night the 27th of august. No One there noticed the mistake until after they had run my credit card AND I NOTICED IT. I am now stuck in prattville with 2.00 because the front desk of this hotel was not paying attention and trying to scam me into paying more than I normally pay.

We pre-booked our room over the phone based on impressions we obtained from their web site. The site notes a private beach, a pool in a lush tropical garden, special ambience, signature service, describing the Inn as the "Jewel of the Pacific". Based on this description we had actually booked out of a very nice and less expensive hotel in Santa Barbara with the intent that we would splurge on our last night in Southern California and stay in the Jewel of the... read full review »

Outrigger - Good Times Travel
We went to this 90 minute sales pitch. Of course we were skeptical and really only wanted to get the "free stuff." Boy are we glad that we didn't fall into their spell! As others in this forum have mentioned they started out with a price of $9995 and went all the way down to $1895. That should be your first huge flag! Why would anyone invest that kind of money without being able to research the company? I sincerely caution anyone that is going to this sales pitch! If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a DUCK! read full review »

Extended Stay Hotels
This hotel is located in Oklahoma City, OK.
It was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. For starters, the room had no toilet tissue since the property had depleted its supply. No housekeeping provided unless you staty a week, meaning you have to take out the trash yourself or leave it in the room. They would not provide clean towels again only if you stay a week. By far the worst hotel ever. read full review »
