I stayed at a Days Inn for one night me and my daughter, i got their at 8pm and put in a complaint at 7am because other people that were staying a room above us their children were yelling. We were promised different amenities and food coupons, gas coupons, etc, etc. We were made to pay them with our credit card before we were allowed to see any documentation of anykind about the Vacation Package. As a business person I have stayed at this hotel many times as they have always had a computer and printer for travelers usage. The last 2 times I've been there they have had 2 broken computers and printers. I purposely did not print my things out at home so I didn't have to carry them only to get there and no usage. Not to mention the most unfriendly Hostess named Kathy. I had booked airport transfer facility via an email dated 29th March. However, when I reached the airport, I found that there was nobody to pick us from the shuttle stop. I had 5 reservations for 5 rooms for 6 nights three pre-paid as the price was very good. I have confirmation of the reservation. The hotel had no rooms available when the group arrived. I had to put them in the Marriott and my phone bill to sort out rooms for them is in excess of Euro 450. I booked a hotel through Roomsnet.com and upon my arrival at the hotel I was told that my booking had been cancelled by Roomsnet.com the previous day. I had to pay again at the hotel and was told by Roomsnet that they would refund me the money. We booked rooms through travel link this past spring. We showed up only to find out that they did not have all rooms available. They put some of us in bank owned rooms (cops came and shut us out). This in addition some rooms not having heat, hot water, and other amenities. We are still trying to get our money back from this utter disaster. On May 7, 2009 Country Inn & Suites of Calabasas, CA inappropriately charged my Discover card $150. They allege that someone smoked in one of our two guest rooms. Went to Hospital after a night of severe kidney pain and unable to move/leave until about 4:30 a.m. I have a pelvic kidney and something was wrong that night. While kidney is usually smaller, deformed and turned backward, I never had problems before this. Radiology tests from this visit showed it to be much larger than usual and now larger than good left kidney. My wife and I stopped to stay at the Super 8 Motel in Elk City, Ok. We asked for a non-smoking room because I am a lung cancer survivor. We get into the room and the room smelled of smoke.
