Smooth talking salesman Mark Mcgee had to have my $400 by the end of the week, because he had a family that wanted to buy my timeshare. I can't believe I fell for this scam! I drive a truck cross country and broke down on 08/16/09 and the company put the wife, dog and I up in a motel6 affiliate called studio 6 in garland, texas.I'm being reimbursed for the room but still my company is getting screwed. first it has a 49.00 plus 10.00 for the extra person and a 10.00 fee for the dog. I have a USAir credit card and I pay the annual fee in April (my anniversary date) On my anniversary date I am supposed to receive a coupon code good for 2 companion tickets for $99 (plus some other benefits). I checked into the Catalina Hotel on July 3, 2009, with the original plan to stay until July 6, 2009. An issue came up in which I had to leave Miami, FL on July 5, 2009 and fly back to my hometown of Virginia. We was getting married in Myrtle Beach on 6/20/09. We arrived late afternoon and paid for two rooms for one night. This was a supposedly newly renovated motel which in the one room we rented there was NO hot water at all...I mean no water on the hot side whatsoever out of either the sink or the bathshower. I had flight almost every week for the last 4 years from Bay Area to Orange County, using many of the airlines available. Today, Jet Blue wanted to charge me $50.00 to cancel a $49.00 ticket my son made by mistake. The ticket was bought for me just a few hours before I realized the error. I purchased tickets from Priceline.com for a normal, non-stop flight from Tampa to NYC. After purchasing the tickets, they gave me an interary for a completely different flight/trip. When I called customer service to change the flight or to see what happened, they told me I did a "Name Your Own Price" purchase (which I didn't do), and that they were unable to cancel or change the reservation. We attended the vacation club presentation at Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta, we brought with us our children. Many employees commented on how wonderful the resort is for children and how Mexico in general is a very family friendly place. My family and I arrived at out hotel only to find that Book In Hotels canceled our reservation we had made and paid for months before. It took 11 hours before someone answered the phone for me to even begin the discussion about what happened. After many phone calls and attempted calls they didn't make the matter right and I had to contact my credit card company to get a charge reversal. Don't book anything through these people or Gulliver's Travel which brokered the arrangement and did nothing to remedy the situation. My wife and I stayed in this nhotel over the weekend. Wewent to get in the pool but the water was murkey and cloudy so we opted to use the jacuzzi in our room, we filled the tub with hot water but when we turned on the air jets our came the roaches. Premier Timeshare Solutions and American Marketing Group which are the same company, Has called me 32 times within several weeks and no voice mail messeges were left. They both said I had a buyer but when you start asking detail questions, they basically state well, there is not a buyer yet but they want over a $1000 deposit. They state that you will get this deposit back but in their contract, you will not base on the wording of the contract. Farecrawler is a fraud. They quote you a really good price -- much better than you have seen on other sites. You "purchase" your ticket by transmitting your credit card number. Then you get an email saying that they need to do quality checks which will take some time. So the transaction is not completed. The next day you get an email that the Airline has increased its base price but that they can offer you another deal (which is still much more expensive than the price they quoted you). This is easily one of the WORST companies I had to deal with; here's the story: I purchased a roundtrip ticket through these guys back last summer and I got my eticket fine, I got to the airport about an hour and a half before the flight (it was international so you need to be at the airport at least an hour ahead) and the guy at the ticket counter told me that they were fully booked and that I had to take the next flight. My husband and I recently stayed at a DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington Virginia on business(August 11 & 12, 2009). We were quoted a rate of $169/night for two double beds. I rented the "Serendipity House" in Surfside Beach, SC, Oceanside Village, through VRBO (although his property is listed on other sites), Mr. Ed Kydd, in mid-July, 2009.
