First they increased the price of the item. Then it was taking forever to receive the item even though I had to pay extra for the shipping, so I called to find out why. I recently purchased a beginner metal clay kit from Fire Mountain Gems. After only 4-5 uses, the butane torch that came with the kit will not work correctly. In order to turn it off, I now have to use a screwdriver to pry up the off button. This tends to be a little scary while holding a lit 1400 degree or so torch. DON'T use this site. I used it to apply for a few credit cards last year, and immediately afterward my once very private email address was either sold and/or left unsecured by them, and I now get endless SPAM (most of it financial-related spam of course.) I never got a refund. No response to e-mail or telephone call requesting refund because I did not want to buy software without a Certificate of Authenticity (CO) as soon as I found out that this was what they were trying to sell me. SportsBuy is also a lousy place to sell cards. They've got a user interface that seems as if it were intentionally designed to make listing cards as difficult and time consuming as possible. They often don't bother to even acknowledge feedback or suggestions. Selling a card for $0.25 results in $0.92 worth of transaction and "payment processing" fees (which I guess they justify by taxing the buyer $2.10 for shipping and "buyer protection"). I ordered $80 of stuff from then, got an automated receipt, and then heard nothing for 2 weeks. I contacted them via email, via txt message as they suggest as well. This company is a completely rotten. I sent them my camera and didn't hear anything for weeks. I called to see if they had received it and the guy couldn't answer the question. You call them and tell them that the check was never cashed only two days after it was due and then they send you a late payment. Even though you went right over and gave them a new check for rent.
