I signed up for a government grant program called Grant Now. Do not fall for it. I canceled my membership 13 minutes after I sign up because they charged my account $49.95 not $1.00 as the add stated. I sent my cancellation in through their website, just as instructed and received an email confirmation. I then waited a few days and then called to make sure I was getting a refund. They said I had not canceled and now it's past the thre day period and will not get a refund. I sent a support ticket, as instructed, with a copy of the... read full review »

Hung January 22, 2009
Watch out if you are bidding on uBid.com. I had a bad experience with them recently. I bid on an HP laptop. When the auction closed (in this case it did not went to overtime), uBid.com web site showed me as the winner. However, more than an hour later I received an outbid notice. I went back to uBid.com web site and it showed a new winner with a bid of $200+ higher. I complained to uBid.com. Their response is that there was a glitch in their system and they are not responsible for the mistake. I went to BBB (Better Business Bureau) and filed a... read full review »

Darlene January 22, 2009
I have been with Readers Digest for a few years now, and one thing I am sick of is the false advertisements. This year I renewed my subscription and found today with my magazine a card that said to go to www.rd.ca/gps . It stated that RD was giving away 3 brand new Sony GPS devices in an exclusive draw and were invited for a free chance to enter and enter an access code. It also states that complete contest rules are available on website. I thought this company was a reputable one, but now I am going to cancel my subscription because I am not impressed at all. read full review »

InternationalPharmacyNetwork.com
Harry Cltorious January 22, 2009
Stay Away from International Pharmacy Network.com... they are one of the worst sites I have dealt with. They will not deliver your paid product, they will threaten you when you try to get resolution to getting your merchandise or a refund. The besy thing to do is NEVER order from them. They claim to 309 websites which is a lie. There is NO possible way they would be that successful and act like prison criminals when you try to find out if you have been scammed. They will lie and lie to you to waste time before they shut down their site. If you have ordered from them the best thing to do is get your money back from VISA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE read full review »

Unauthorized $14.95 monthly charge from Blair showed up on our Mastercard for 6 months before we caught it. Look out! If you sign up for your 'free' Grant Writing Express CD, you are also agreeing to paying $54.96 / month, once your first 'free' month is over. HighBeam.com
Robert January 21, 2009
This company offers 'free' trial. Then bills your credit card without further notice and continues year after year without notice. When you catch them and cancel they do not offer a refund. Many have written that the renewal 'reminder' was not sent but the renewal was processed anyway. The company is well aware of their unethical practice and continues unabated. Any business that recognizes a problem and continues with disdain knows exactly what it is doing. This is defacto intent to defraud. read full review »

This company is a 100% scam. DO NOT do anything with them or any other company they are associated with. They are crooks. they do not ever answer there phone and the emails are ignored or a response will come back verifying your canceling yet they keep taking money out. TLancaster January 20, 2009
This company presented itself as a legitimate (but fake) message that popped up as a regular part of my McAfree virus scan. It told me I had Spyware on my computer and that I was not fully protected because I did not have the most recent version of spyguard 2008. It even showed inside my McAfee Security Center. I allowed it to scan my system. It then informed me I had multiple spyware and a trojan and needed to download the full version to remove them. I paid $49.95 for the full version on 1-12-09.
