I purchaced a pair of Tuffa boots off of the Internet, from a company called Tack Direct. At first they were very nice, untill I had a problem. Then I sent them directly back to the manufacture (Tuffa). Found it was a fault in the boots (after 3 weeks of wear). It took them 3 months to send me a new pair to relpace them, with NO postage refund! Within 3 weeks the second pair broke. After a 30 trial offer...I canceled...this product didn't do a bit of good. I cancelled in June and did not recieve any futher credit card debits until December when an 85.31 charge showed up on my credit card. I got through to customer service who asked that I send a copy of my credit card statement to a fax number that did not work. I was bitterly disappointed and upset to learn recently that Subway are using Halal slaughtered meat in many of their London restaurants (I'm not sure about their other UK stores). I used to be a regular customer at Subway but I will no longer set foot in any of their outlets and neither will my friends. The Halal method of slaughtering animals is absolutely disgraceful and cruel.
