Was sold a "Lifetime Warranty" on this new heater for an additional $20 ($99 vs. $79) and found to my dismay that the "warranty" only brought the price of the heater down to what the competition sells it for anyway (after the factory warranty expires). I had a P/C repaired at this business on Sept. 24-2010. Owner Stephen Whipple called my home stating that if I could be at his business within 40 minutes my P/C was finished. FAKE - Received check for $990.00. Said I won $5, 100. Told to cash check, go to Western Union to pay Non-Resident tax to Canada of $910.00, since that is where the drawing was. Then the balance would be sent to me via UPS or direct deposit. Was told I entered a drawing at "Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Safeway, Stop & Shop, K-Mart, Best Buy or JC Penny, etc". BestBrandValues. Complete fraud. I didn't catch the 9.95 per month for membership for 11 months after ordering a movie for a reduced price from an affiliated site (hotmoviesale.com). This is fraud pure and simple. I lost over a hundred dollars before I could cancel. Now my credit card company says they can't do anything about it because I signed up for the membership. I didn't! Sold mortgage to Freddie Mac and bank manager had told me the mortgage would not be sold. Received letter from Flagstar telling me my loan application had been denied. I did not file a loan application. I had redone a mortgage refinance to reduce % rate but there are no arrears. Transunion credit agency involved. I do not know what this is about. I was going through my spam box, as I like to remove myself from ad lists I notice I'm getting a lot of e-mail from, to reduce the incoming amount of data coming into my inbox. I happened to notice some Skout thing, and I couldn't find anywhere in the e-mail. They are a bunch of scam artist, we cancel an order from them and was expected to get a refund when mailing back the product. Never did get back our refund and they continuously charge us again without our authorization. Contacted my bank and had to dispute the charges. Barclay card has an alliance with APPLE to finance their products sold to students and the public at large. They are a scam artist posing as a bank. Do not let them steal from you. You can find better financing. Their idea is to offer you "deferred interest" on your MAC or Apple device. They make it nearly impossible to determine when your intro period is up and then hit you for a huge interest payment the day it expires. We are receiving phone calls fromInfocom USA to pay for a CD that 1.) we didn't authorize the order and 2.) we haven't even received a CD. They call us and we tell them we didn't order a CD nor do we have one in our office please do not call here again and then we hang up. They call right back and tell us that we are rude to hang up the phone and that by hanging up the phone doesn't mean we are going to get rid of them. I payed them off and attempted to close my account - even spoke with someone on the phone to help - but they still managed to keep my account open with a zero balance and fine me ANOTHER 160 DOLLARS because of more charges!!! Elmhurst Suzuki is a horrible dealer. I've taken my truck into this shop 3 times for the same problem. The truck has been there over 2 weeks and is there right now. They are either unable or unwilliling to find the source of the problem. While the truck was there they bent the step bar and caused another problem. So frustrated with this place!!
