We have been getting repeated phone calls. The caller ID says "Loan Counseling". I have not answered the calls because is an 800 number and I figure it is some type of sales call. I went to Dunkin ' Donuts in Target at Elmhurst this morning and I bought 2 croissants, toasted with cream cheese and 2 sugar raised donuts. I ordered a waxing kit from this company because their pricing seemed more competitive than other sites. The kit came with a wax warmer which required wax beads (which were supposed to be included in the kit). When it arrived, the bag of wax beads had been removed and replaced with a tin of wax which was made for a larger warmer. I couldn't use the tin since it didn't fit the warmer. After two emails to the company (there is NO phone number provided on the website, that should have been a red flag!), no reply, and no replacement. Now I have a useless kit and am out $129. They claimed when I signed up, it was a 12 month contract and they said if I don’t pay the balance, they will report me to JBT, Jewelers Board of Trade. don’t join and if you do, read the fine print. My son (a teen minor) was scammed. A pop up ad appeared on his computer to order this product for $1.50. He ordered this with his ATM card. He did not know that they would continue to send this product for $79.98 per month. The terms were not spelled out. I called the company to request to return the product and reverse his charges and they refused. They sold this product to a minor with a heart condition. At around 6:10PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, I made an attempt to board a Q65 MTA bus number 9851 heading to College Point, at the Main Street station. Cope and McPhetres had an incentive program with Cash Rewards Inc. They have both gone out of business leaving customers of Cope and McPhetres and Ultimate watersports in the lurch for incentive reward pay outs. They owe me 10, 000 after the 3 years I waited and filed all the paperwork. Cash Rewards inc is in bankruptcy court in Texas - you can file with the federal bankruptcy court there but it will be a long line of people a head of you.
