Anyone gotten ripped off by Philadelphia Cycle Center [2450 Castor Ave]? Last spring (2009), I paid them over $200 to rebuild the carburetors on my 78 Honda Gold Wing. Turns out they only filled them up with cleaning fluid and emptied them out. When I picked the bike up last spring, they said they rebuilt the carbs. Now, they're going back on that word, saying the carbs were only cleaned and synchronized. My wife an I arrived in Miami for the beginning of our vacation. When we caught the shuttle from the airport to the the office, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes to get to the counter. When I got to the counter, I had to wait another half hour because the rep was bouncing between 3 computers assisting other customers. GlobalC2C is a fraudulent company. They advertise Air Jordans, but once you place an order, they don't respond. Prior to placing an order, you can "chat live" and ask questions. After you place an order and ask for tracking information, they tell you they don't sell shoes (it changes daily). I ordered and received a 2008 Chev 2500HD new from a local dealer. I ordered the vehicle with the "Snowplow Prep Package" which consists of a skid plate, and a heavy duty alternator. EZ Lube botched an oil change causing oil to spew out of the engine rendering it inoperable and in need of a new engine. They sent it to a mechanic of their choosing who replaced the engine poorly kinking a vacuum line but the worst of it was they ruined the transmission in the process. Company technician came to home to do cost estimate to install under the sink disposal unit. Before coming i discussed with office representative that there would be no fee for house call, and gave estimates from 3 other firms ranging from $185-$200 for the work and i would not pay more. My engine builder purchased a cam shaft, lifters. All the necessary goods to assemble my engine. The cam was so soft that as we were breaking it in the thing ground away to nothing ruining all the other new engine parts as the grindings passed through. It was very difficult getting the documents they needed because I'm a Mexican citizen asking for an American citizen's birth certificate. When I moved in to this facility the apartment complex was aware of my financial constraints and that of being unemployed. The supervisor has even made comments a couple of months ago that she would work with me if the issue was primarily that of timing of receiving unemployment.
