I have been making payments on time since March of 2009 for a car that I might have driven for a month. The car has been parked under my carport for months and is not drivable. Had pipe leak in slab. American Plumbing came out and can repipe my whole house. Quoted, $789. I signed the work order. The repipe was done. I recieved an invoice and gave my credit card number. On 5/12/08 I traded a 2004 Ford Explorer at Fort's Toyota of Pekin Illinois for a 2008 Prius. We brought our car in for an oil change. They told us we had to get the 30k inspection in order to keep our Tires for Life contract going; so I did for $300 later. I ask for them to check my A/C unit in the car because the A/C had gradually lost air. They quoted me $700 to fix the A/C because the compressor clutch coil was bad. I declined due to finances. We had a new Dacor cook top installed on 3/31/08 with five known major defects. The installer, recommended by CBD Family Appliances(CBD), contacted CBD and they allowed the istallation to proceed. My parents paid long term care insurance premiums for 20 years. At age 88 my Mom fell and would have seemed to qualify for what they were paying for "nursing home insurance". My mom died this past year and I took care of her for three years prior, she had alzheimers and it was a hard job.
