OK, last week I didn't know anything about National Readers Service. After dealing with these people on my daughter's behalf, that's certainly no longer the case. At this point, National Readers Service has verbally agreed to close her account with no balance, no bills in the future, any additional magazines received after this cancellation are her gift at no charge, and her payment to date will be refunded. I placed an order for Acai Berry Breeze and Colon Cleanse 3000 in July 2009. The order was for a free bottle of each product, and the only fee I had to pay was the $4.95 S&H of each product. August 14, 2009 I was checking my bank account, and found 2 new fees charged to my account. The fees were $83.95 for each product and $2.52 for S&H for each product. We were flying in from Omaha w/ twins (11 months old). Any more it cost so alot to check car seats so we rented some from Budget. The were so ancient I think they were a least 15 plus years old. To meet safety regulations they need to be no older than 5 years. They were extremely dirty and stored in a small storage shed next to the garbage. I gave them proof of my insurance during my appointment, and they never billed them. Instead the extremely rude and condescending secretary accused me of not having insurance. I offered to fax or email paperwork so that she could bill the insurance and she refused to give me a fax number or email address. I called them several times to help them fill out the paperwork, and they didn't do anything. Instead she sent me a bill for work that is 100% covered by my insurance. I used this website to raise funds for my son to go to Florida for a competition. We raised $1000 and met all the requirements for this fundraiser. We only recieved $220. Luckily they did not steal the rest, they just canceled the credit card transactions for no reason. The only money we did recieve were from people who had paypal accounts. The people who donated and used a credit card to donate were voided. This was the majority of our donations. I will never use this service again. Red flags everywhere with this purchase but the link came from a trusted site I use regularly. This is tricky. I receive a violation because I was parked at a zone that was illegal at a certain time. Violation: No stopping/anti-gridlock zone. Sign was posted near by and said: Tow away, no stopping 4pm to 7pm. i was issued a citation at 4:16 PM...then at 4:25PM the tow truck came. Sears damaged my new vehicle, their loss prevention idiots attempted to intimidate me by taking a petty amount. I though I had bought a product from a company called Tipperhealth - I find that I have been charged much more than I agreed - about £3o sand the find that they have spread my card to other companies Maxacaiburncom and clipperhealth for a total inclusing their charges of £148.11 and I have returned the products as instructed - they still sent me more this has coats as total of £3.36 - big difference from their costs of £50.23. I have tried contacting them by phone, email and even mailed the stuff back prior to the 15 days with a letter asking for them to cancel.
