I received a call from a Chuck Rivers stating that they wanted to buy my timeshare. I had not contacted them, but somehow they got my number and called me. They said they would pay me for my timeshare, and that I would receive the money in 24 days. I just needed to send them a check for $1, 404 to check for leins and that the units were free and clear, and that I would receive the money back at the close. This unit has numerous complaints about this unit on the internet. Apparently many other people have had the same problem - the coffee maker just stops working. We received the maker as a gift for our wedding - less than three years ago. According to Cuisinart, the serial number refers to a unit that is out of warranty. I recently bought a Smithfield Paul Deen signature series of their Chicken and Dumplings. I cannot believe that Ms Deen has tasted this stuff. It had no resemblence to Dumplings at all and at best I would describe it as soupy chicken and dressing. I became sick within and hour of eating this entree. When my husband and I almost bought a car from Atlantic Car Sales, in Whitman MA, we were shocked to find we were being charged more than what we had agreed to. This group requires you to wire money to them (usually over $1000) in order to obtain a loan through them that evidently never shows up. It also appears that this group used to call themselves "Weston Lending Group" and scammed thousands of victims. Their website claims they are in Tampa, Florida but the toll free number routes back to Canada. The Manhattan School on W. 52nd between 8th and 9th Ave. The back of the school is on 53rd Street and the janitors throw the schools trash out on the sidewalk. On some days the trash is not picked up and they ALWAYS have some bags that are open and spilling food and trash out onto the sidewalk. We are trying to clean W. 53rd up with new landscaping, a new building and three nice apt. building and a church on that block. but between Papasitos Restaurant on W. 53rd and the Manhattans Schools putting their trash out the way they do. Exceedingly dishonest about payments. They will quote you and promise you one thing, and then not honor their commitment. They will get you on-site for a service call, and if it be4comes complicated, will verbally promise you an hourly rate, or an increased flat rate, and then when it comes time for payment, they will deny ever making any such commitments, even if your have names, times, and the end-user's signature.
