Boonex & AEWebworks
Han June 28, 2009
I have been using this software and this forum, until I began to think. 1) let us look at the forum www.modmysite.com itself. At once we see that the only software that is described and discussed here is Boonex and AEDating, which is the same. There are some other small dating softwares, but just look at it all. By the way, this Modmysite scam forum is announced by admin to be a means of FREE expressing thoughts about software. Ok where are then: SkaDate, DatingSoftware.org, Datetopia, Mojoscripts, WebScribble, DotSilver, DatingPro... read full review »

Emailtheworld.biz
Garold June 28, 2009
I can verify that http://www.emailtheworld.biz is a complete SCAM. After paying via MoneyBookers (as he doesn't accept PayPal) I found that every single email he supplies has been harvested. These emails are NOT opt-in (as he claims on his site)...far from it!! 1 Billion illegal, invalid, non-opt-in emails. When I requested a refund and closure of my account he "kindly" told me to piss off. I tried contacting MoneyBookers to resolve this problem, however there was nothing they could do as the transaction had been processed... read full review »

TVShows.ORG
Peter June 28, 2009
I've been burned tonight by TVShows.ORG (an affiliate of TV.org), let me explain. I found out earlier this evening that I have missed the first 5 episodes of Ghost Hunters season 2. I did a bit torrent search at www.torrentspy.com and found that there weren't a lot of seeds for season two, so... I searched google for "download ghost hunters" and an adsense ad came up advertising, "Download your favorite TV shows" linking to TVShows.org. I imagined in my mind how amazingly awesome it would be to download my... read full review »

Sealy PP Matress
Anthony Fiducia June 28, 2009
Purchased a Sealy PP Matress from Kanes Furniture 2 years ago and it has begun to sag in the middle. I have serious back problems and that is why I purchased an expensive Mattress and Boxspring. They sent out a man who took some measuements and pictures and said I would hear from Kanes the next day. Waited most of the day and then called them. They said the person responsible for making the decision would be out for several days. He finally called and said the Mattress Sag was 1/4 inch from needing a replacement. I thought I'd inform people of some troubles I have been having with a site called pokerprizes.com. Gin June 28, 2009
The site in question is www.ediscountgascards.com. Claims to sell gas cards for 15% off face value. I tried this because some posts on the internet we positive and the were "PAYPAL Verified". My first order was filled, albeit slowly. So I ordered again. After two months the company did not ship the cards. After complaining to Paypal they canceled my order without a refund. PayPal did not make good on my complaint (so much for PayPal verified!) But I was at least happy to say that PayPal is not associated with them anymore. But they are still out there, but they are asking for a check. Please stay away!!! read full review »

Sony PS3 80G
C Ware June 28, 2009
We bought the Sony PS3 80g to be abe to play blue ray movies as well as games. The problem starts when we try to play a blue ray movie on the PS3 - the movie does not play in our 5.1 surround sound home theatre system. The games will play in 5.1, but the movies will not. We get sound out of only one speaker; the right front - thats it! We called Sony and they want to blame our receiver - but it's not the receiver, it plays all other movies and TV and the PS3 games just fine - it's a firmware problem with the PS3 playing blue ray... read full review »

I ordered The Wave exercise equipment on May 29, 2009, over the Internet. I was careful not to join any of the additional clubs they offered on the site. I received it in a timely fashion, and I didn't have any complains with the equipment. The videos could be more informative, but that is not my complaint or warning. Angies List.com
Kevin June 28, 2009
Angies List is a for profit business that attempts to give reports on good expereinces and bad experiences on business's around the US. Angies List advertises that, companies do not pay to be listed on our service, consumers do. BUT, Nothing stops business owners from paying for the service and writing something positive about their own business.. How do consumers know that the person posting something positive about the business does not have financial gain from doing so? If you want to do a more detailed background check on business, I reccomend going to the Better Business Bureau. read full review »

Just to let everyone know, that might be interested in signing up to this site...do not do it! They say sign up for 4 dollars and it puts you into a randomizer and you than receive 4 dollar payments from other people that sign up. Well, you end up paying 12 dollars total, and than at the end, it says there was an error, and you must start over again, paying another 12 dollars...but when you check your account, the payments did go through, and your stuck without a membership, and lost your money. read full review »

I've noticed loads of threads going up about Hostgator recently. The scam goes like this. They only charge $10 a month for 'unlimited domain hosting'. Problem is, they stick you on a server with 5000 other people, so your sites are for ****. Their IPs are all blakclisted because spammers love hostgator, and you will get associated with them because you all share the same IP, and google now apparently automatically downgrades hostgator - hosted websites, because 99% of their clients just throw up... read full review »
