Mrs. F June 24, 2009
My husband submitted information to receive a grant kit. We have been very displeased with this "grant service." The confirmation page telling the amount charged to our debit card only gave the $1.95 amount. After being quite surprised we were charged $57.61, I investigated the group's website. When you sign up for the information, they tell you about the monthly membership fees. However, it is written in a dark gray font on a lighter gray background. The company failed to capitalize the beginnings of all of the sentences in the... read full review »

I purchased 25 cameras from enrrens.com for USD$1625, specifically from a man named Peter Gontha. He was friendly and in constant contact with me, providing quotes, sending photos and answering all questions I had. I was in contact with him for approximately 2 weeks before making an order. I received a PI from Peter after making my order and given instructions on how to wire transfer the money to their account. I was told they the company did not accept credit cards or any other form of payment than wire transfer. I sent the money from New... read full review »

BE AWARE OF the shop mobilebestbuy. This website offered lots of electronic devices (pda, phones). On the website there was an adress from Jakarta, Indonesia. Unfortunately I ordered and lost my money. The website disapeared within the last week. I've gotten dozens of these pieces of junk in the last week...all identical excepr that both the geocities account and the email address of origin are different in each instance. http://vastsofte.com/ has every indication of being a scam as well - all manner of software, at suspicious prices, avalable for download, etc. Anyone know if this is a spammer and a scammer? read full review »

Red flags of a scam 1)No info on what kind of MLM/illegal pyramid they are recruiting for. 2)Promises easy ways to learn how to get rich. 3)Magical "formula" and "secret". 4)Promises of training on demand by $100K earners. It never happen unless they want you to sign up for more cash. 5)Spamming on forums. 6)Promises that absolutely everybody can succeed as long as you are in "system". And so on. I submited report to godaddy.com Hopefully she will lose her host tomorrow. Here is a link to complain https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/spamr...5Fhdr=&ci=1533 Ask godaddy.com to remove her domain name. read full review »

Call em out June 24, 2009
Caps 1971 is a farce. Don't waste your time and money people. Please listen. I just wish that I would have found out before I invested my money. The people should be taken out back and ... Thieves. I have more respect for used car salesmen, at least they do have something to sale. These jerks will call and worry the hell out of you until they receive your check. Then you can't reach them later. I'm not a happy camper. The crimes that they commit will cost them more than the money they've stolen. All I can say is that they better hope that I never get out to California. read full review »

American Express sold my $2000 account to RMA. I was broke in the fall and missed 3 payments. The calls have been bad, all day everyday. We set up a payment plan, which they reluctantly accepted, for $100 dollars to be sent every month. After the first $100 was taken out, the phone calls started again. But not just to us. A man named Joseph has called people with the same last name as us asking for me. One happened to be a person at my husband's work. She emailed him saying this man has called her at home and at work looking for me, and... read full review »

We had purchases a vechicle from Payday Motors, with financing to be done thru Credit acceptance. However, being very unhappy with it and after speaking with owner there, they said they would buy it back from us, they would let finace company know, and that it would be like we never bought it. They also told us that finance company agreed and car was taken back to them. It now has been brought to my attention that it was placed on my credit and my spouses credit as a repossession. More than that, they have still reported it wrong and I have been threatened by the State of MO to have all my tags revoked because I never paid sells tax on this vehicle. read full review »

I dealt with UoP in San Diego years ago before they became popular. The classes were pretty good. My problem was with their "financial aid." I wanted to attend part-time and work at the same time to avoid getting student loans (which I despised from my first degree). I told a "man" named Stacey in UoP's FA office that I did NOT want a student loan since I was NOT a full-time student. I thought all was well. NOT!!! They build in emerging markets, ex: San Antonio, and Austin area. One of the benefits is that you can receive anywhere from 60K - 125K per deal after the sale, or if the property is not sold within the 9mnths of the loan, then the builder will buy the property back and give you the $$$ for the deal.
