The online course rarely begins at the scheduled time. Questions about study materials to be completed before class are not answered via e-mail causing confusion during the actual class as students are not sure which assignments are due. Customer sevice consist of ignoring the customer after the course has been paid. During the registration process e-mails and phone calls are answered but should an issue arise after you have paid, there is no help. Alternative prep companies should be sought for those who seek professional training for standardized test and great customer service. read full review »

ThermiteMedia
Oliver March 23, 2009
Don't purchase from ThermiteMedia through Amazon or Ebay, or anywhere! I ordered my item on Dec 26. It is now Feb 12, and after many correspondences going no where, I still don't have my item. Currently, I had to resend an email I already sent out a few days ago because they said they haven't received the email stating Amazon has closed the claims dispute, which I made, which enables them to reship the item to me. So I'm crossing my fingers that they will get it through their heads that I need my paid-for item now after 2... read full review »

Sit-N-Sleep
Ben March 23, 2009
I purchased a high end Chattam & Wells mattress from SitNSleep on 7-29-06 with a 10 year non prorated warranty. The mattress is junk and has fallen apart internally. It was inspected and found to be defective and approved for replacement. Sit N Sleep just issues a credit to come into the store and "BUY" another mattress. The credit is not enough to cover replacing the original mattress. So I am stuck with a bad mattress, unless I want to pay the difference to get the current priced mattress from them for another $2... read full review »

BBVA Compass Bank
JAT March 23, 2009
Compass Bank has charged my account about $250 in overdrawn charges stemming from an oversight that led to a $3 negative balance. By the time I saw the first $38 NSF charge, my online account information showed that a trasfer wire deposit had posted and the account was no longer negative. What I did not know is that a small debit charge posted before the deposit, thus another $38 was charged. By this time, I had used my debit card twice more for small transactions, thinking I had a positive balance to cover them. Requests to remove all but the... read full review »

I took my car in for a simple oil change and was told I needed an engine flush and an engine additive. I agreed after hearing their pitch for 5 minutes. After $137 I was on my two mile journey home. The next day as I was on my way to work my car started sputtering, shaking, and then the check engine light came on. I had to have to towed back to the location. The guys said they could have not tightened a hose or they could have put something on incorrectly. After an hour and a half they still could not find what was wrong. I have my Mazda towed... read full review »

$ For You Now by LISA FITZGERALD
Bill Henley March 23, 2009
I recently discovered this company has charged my debit card $94.49 for the past 3 mos before i caught it. I never received the cd they promised which was all I wanted and it was free just pay 2.95 for shipping and cancel because agreeing to pay shipping your in a contract so call the phone number to cancel and no one answers...so how can you cancel out of sight out of mind till the bill comes. I never been back to the site other than ordering the cd which never came. They are refusing to refund my money except for the last payment. Anyone with dealings with this company lets shut them down and take legal action against these scumbags. read full review »

Mini U Storage
Trevor March 23, 2009
I made a reservation online via their website for a 5x5 storage space. No where on their website states that the space for the $49 price was obstructed by a column which takes up about half the space. The week before I had stopped by to see the storage and was shown a "regular" 5x5 but was not told that it would cost more. When we started renting, we were told that a "regular" 5x5 storage space will cost us $69 but there's no option on their website to book or view such information. We were forced to pay more for the... read full review »

Philips Magnavox
miratessa March 23, 2009
I purchased a Magnavox 37" LCD tv from walmart in the fall of 2006. December of 2008, the tv started taking 20-30 minutes to power on. By the end of January it would not power on at all. Looking online for solutions to the problem led me to numerous complaint boards about LCD tv's of all sizes from this company. Obviously, one of their parts is to blame, and they should institute an immediate recall! read full review »

I recieved a letter titled "FINAL NOTICE OF UNCLAIMED WINNING", telling me that I had won $250, 000 in the CUSTOMERS COMPENSATION DRAW. A check for $4, 920.00 was enclosed, which I was to use to pay taxes, and I was to call Lisa Austin, assigned claim agent, for further instructions. car advertising (online)
garden200 March 23, 2009
One Stop Motors.com has had a controversial presence on the internet. Unfortunately, they have a few satisfied customers who they say represent the bulk of their customers. The rest either cut their losses for advertising with an unscrupulous advertiser, or do actually complain. One -- out of all the complaints -- wrote in to say how wonderful the company is -- "Terrible company" but they have nothing to back up their gradiose statement with! I had an account with Friedman's Jewelers, which filed for bankruptcy. Account went to SST and harrassment began. Even with payments current, SST called daily including Sundays and as many as 16 times a day. The women were very rude in all calls. I mailed one payment by cashier's check and they sent check back to the bank uncashed. I have trouble getting SST to give me a correct balance and they have added another payment to the balance. I would like to make known my experience with Sunset Beach at the Hacienda Tres Rios Hotel. This was our first trip to Mexico and so we were not aware of how easy it is to get lured in by this type of company. As soon as we arrived in Mexico we were ushered towards a man sitting in a booth near the exit to the airport. Galaxy Granite, Inc.
Piter March 23, 2009
On 9-3-08 Mr. Peng contracted to do the fabrication and installation of my downstairs shower and vanity at my house. He cut the 3rd and 4th granite slabs incorrectly so that my new fabricator cannot install the granite to my upstairs (second) shower. I am asking for a refund for the two wrongly cut slabs because Mr. Peng refuses to replace them. He will not do the second shower job as he originally promised me and refuses to repair the damage to the vanity top and backsplash that his installers caused while doing the contracted job. I purchased all four slabs at his warehouse. The cost of the 3rd and 4th granite slabs is $4970.13. read full review »

Abacus
Orlando March 23, 2009
I purchased a toner cartride through Amazon which was represented as a new Canon cartridge. The price was half again as much as "remanufactured" or "compatible" cartridges, so I figured it was just a good deal. When it arrived the box plainly said "remanufactured". When I complained to Abacus they blamed me and Amazon and offered only to take the cartridge back with me paying shipping both ways (this is no favor - you can return anything this way). I don't think I would want to deal with this vendor again. Would not lift a finger to help a dissatisfied consumer. read full review »

Christy March 23, 2009
I too noticed a $9.95 charge on my company credit card statement and knew that it was fraudulent immediately. The transaction date was on a Sunday when our offices are closed, and my card is always locked in my desk drawer. I only use the card when I am sitting at my desk. I immediately googled the company and came across the complaintsboard.com and saw the many postings. I don't understand why a company that is obviously doing this hundreds of times, and probably getting away with it a good percentage of the time, is not out of business by now. They should be banned from the internet. read full review »

ChemDry
Patrick March 23, 2009
My wife and I use Chem-Dry for periodic carpet cleaning. Before our annual Christmas party we called Chem Dry and they sent a person out to clean the carpet. After our carpet was cleaned, it seems that ChemDry also cleaned out around $4, 500 in a 5 gallon change jug we kept in our closet. While we can not absolutely prove that Chem-Dry took the change (we don't have pictures), we know that the Chem-Dry person has been the only person in our home in 2008 that was not a friend (which would have been in our presence 100% of the time). But I then had no further communication from them until a phone call today - five months later- from a collection agency! This infuriates me. This company is worst company on the planet. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INSURANCE MONEY.
