Regional Acceptance Corp. received a check from my insurance company on 3/4/09. There was a overpayment of $2524. I was told on 3/6 that they would send me the check after 15 business days (which I completely understand they need to make sure the insurance check clears the bank). I again call them on 3/30/09 to see if my overage check went out. At that point they told me there was no overage. Purchased a new Refrigerator that was advertised as free delivery November 21, 2008. I had to pay for the delivery $65.oo and mail in for a rebate . The form states that I would receive my rebate within 10-12 weeks. Mailed the form 11/21/2008 and today is 03/31/2009. The form states it will be cancelled after six months and that is not far away. Most of the food was inedible - the deliveries didn't come two days out of each week - at the end of the 2nd week I asked to stop service and to get my money back - back in january. I bought a car from this dealership in December 2008. Of course no one buys from a used car dealer unless they are in desperate circumstances and my case was no different. Today 3/23/09, I purchased a Weider Weight System, Pro 4950 from Sears. I get the $599.00 system home and during the assembling process I find that one of the major weight support bars was incorrect. One of the two bars was short. I called the company, went thru this long process trying to explain what my problem is and during the packaging process the wrong part was put in the box. I have been needing home delivery for about two years. The one I have been stuck with has been Von's/Safeway in Chino Hills, California. In just 4 deliveries I have had 16 mistakes. We had the most horrible experience with Hercules Fence. They started to install a fence in our backyard, and after we noticed the posts were very crookedly set in concrete and asked them to fix it, they blamed us for actually intentionally bending the steel fence! In the end they pulled up the fence and left. Later, they tried to sue us so for preventing them from finishing so we had to get a lawyer, who couldn't imagine what they were thinking. We purchased a new uline refrig for our bar a few years ago and have had nothing but trouble. Within the first few months the noise from the compressor became unbearable, the light works once in a while so we keep a flashlight next to the refrig. It was our biggest regret in a very large remodel project After many unsuccessful attempts to contact a uline representative by phone and by email and NEVER getting a response, we finally just chalked it to a 1200 dollar mistake . Company installed complete bathroom for over $7000.00 in August of 2005. Starting in February of this year we had a bad leak in the basement coming from shower floor. We called 4-6 times and left messages to come and fix the problem. Never did we ask or imply that it was to be done for free. I brought my Speidel watch in for a new battery. They replaced the battery for a$5 charge and within a few hours of returning home, my watch steamed and began holding moisture under the crystal. I hired Omni Data for disaster recovery and prevention as I live in a remote area that is prone to tornadoes. They came to install during the day and that very night I had problems. I drive a 2004 Audi A-4 and this is my first experience beyond the warranty. While under warranty, the dealership service is impeccable however, it's a different experience beyond the warranty. You no longer receive calls relative to the quality of your service experience because the dealership no longer cares.
