I had an e-check process through my bank for $39.95 Thanksgiving week. The check used my maiden name from 5 years ago, and an address of over 3.5 years old. I just got off the phone with the FBI regarding this. He advised me to go to http://www.ic3.gov and fill out a report. He also took my information down, so it will be entered into the system. I placed an order for the Acai Berry Maxx on November 23, 2008 for the $5.95 charge that was for shipping and handling. On November 28th my wife and I purchased a cell phone for our son and put it on our existing account. The Salesman said there was a rebate offer and gave us the paperwork. We did not find out that the rebtae expired on December 4th. One of the requirements is that we must submit a copy of our wireless bill along with rest of the paperwork. I ordered a honeycomb blind on line and didn't get what I expected. My complaint is basically about the web design area. I order from them a few years ago and it appears that they have changed their product line. Their small blind is now wider than in the past and comes with a white back. No where on the order page is there an actual number to tell you how wide the blind will be and the composition is buried on another page and not found in the ordering process. VOX products and their rebates are a hoax! Just watch out and if you dont want to be swindled just stay away from buying any VOX product with or without rebate. My husband and I received 2 American Express gift cards for our wedding from his boss at work. Both were $100 in value and purchased at a local Wawa. The very evening we received them, my husband opened one of the gift cards up to find that the box had been slit on the side and the gift card was missing. I have never heard of something so ridiculous in my life. First they send a letter saying the address on the envelope is incorrect and payments if already sent before notice received may not post to the account on time. Then they allowed you to make a payment online without a fee. The next week send a letter saying your account has been cancelled, but you are still obligated to pay back the balance on your account. The company sent an invoice to my 12 year old daughter claiming that they had sent us books. We never received the books nor did we order them. When I called the company the representative was very rude and told me that I was lying. I went to this facility for Chiropractic treatment. They offer therapudic pillows. They are suppose to help with neck and back alignment. I bought one for my husband and myself at a cost of around $275. The employee who sold them to me said that I could bring them back next time I came in if they didn't work . I saw several people complaining about this company. Unknowingly, I have become a victim of their fraud. I am being charged the notorious $16.95 and they refuse to refund or cancel my "subscription". The customer service rep told me flat out that "nothing can be done"...I have contacted my bank and documented a formal complaint. I have no clue what this company does, or sells. My credit card was charged $11.99 by Great Fun for merchanise. I called the company at 1-800-290-8603 and requested information. They claimed I authorized this charge when I made plane reservations with Priceline in November. So, I am also contacting Priceline about this problem and will not use their site for any further reservations. They sent me a letter on Oct. 30 telling me that they were going to cancel my account on Nov.1. I received the letter Nov. 5 and called them. They told me that it was cancelled because they could not withdraw the money from my bank. I called my bank and they gave me all the paperwork showing that Affinion never tried to withdraw the funds. I faxed all of the information to the plan administrator and they still have not reinstated my account nor notified me.
