I recently noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card bill. I had placed an order that was "free" with the exception of shipping and handling. I received a call to verify the shipping of my free sample of Ultra Lean Green Instant Green Tea Mix. They began to pitch renewal/products and I clearly and emphatically stated that I wanted the free sample only and verified that I would only be charge the shipping and handling, which was 4.95 and billed on my last months American Express bill. This month a chage for 69.87 appeared on my bill for a company called ULTRAGREENLEAN SOFTWARE. This charge was unauthorized and is fraudulent. read full review »

About a year ago, I was forced to re-finance my home, due to a divorce. I re-financed using ABN AMRO Mortgage who later sold my mortgage to CITI MORTGAGE.. Because of the market rates, my home appraised very low, causing my equity to be very low. In order to refinance my home, I was told that I had to pay a PMI of approximately $350.00 a month on top of my mortgage payment, which increased my payment to over $1390.00 for a $180, 000.00 dollar loan. My Sister and I saw Von's full page ad in the Union Tribune on Friday, Sept. 26th. Vons advertised products for our Jewish New Year on sale in their stores. Included were kosher turkeys, blintzes, yortzeit candles, noodles, challah, etc.
We drove to 3 different Vons Markets on Sat., 9/27, in search of these foods. The stores are in 3 different areas of San Diego. TLG Cool Extras
Cool Extras has been taking $12.99 from one of my credit cards for 13 months. I CANCELLED my subscription with them, one day after I obtained it. Clearly in the 30 day trial period!! Once I realized this was happening a few months later, I called to cancel it again and this time asked for a confirmation number in which the representative could not give me or his manager. I DRIVE SAFELY - Arizona Defensive Driving
This company and others like it are a ripoff. They make it impossible to complete the test, so you have to enroll into a class room in the long run. First of all the test consist of topics not related to driving at all. You learn about trivia you never cared about before. Call center phone reps like Nina are useless and a waste of minimum wage. If you ask for a manager you get Rachael who is queen airhead and now you understand where these come from. These companies are just rip offs, save you money and take the class. read full review »

For someone who should know what they are talking about Robert Molina from the Defensive Driving call center is about as uninformed as they come. Simple questions confuse him and I found myself always repeating myself. Maybe a job taking fast food orders would be a better fit for Robert.
His supervisor Kitty Boots is an example of how a government employee with little knowledge of her job can reach the heights of a supervisor and still have the social skills of a dock worker. What a waste of taxpayers money. read full review »

This company put two fraudulent charges on my credit card. $79.99 and $69.99 both in the same month of August 2008. I have only ever purhased one item back in 2002 so they have kept my details and are now randomly charging not just my credit card but others too. I never went back to their site after the 2002 purchase.

At SanDisk's tech support person's suggestion I returned the Cruzer Micro2s to the store and asked the clerk at Office Depot to help me find ones that weren't "smart" so my network computer would work with them. We couldn't find any SanDisk ones, so I had to purchase another brand that I hadn't heard of before. The new ones worked perfectly. I recentlly purchased a hamilton beach coffee maker from walmart. After 7 months the coffee make broke due to material failer. Was guaranted for a year. Called Walmart and they said the time frame for them had expired and I needed to call the company. I called the company and they said they would not warrantee it either and that if I sent them moneyh they would send new part. No where in the warranty does it say anything about specific parts not being warrented. They said too bad and would not do anything. My case is just like one I read on your website. I ordered a FREE Trial of PomClear, and paid a shipping charge of $1.95. My on-line receipt only indicated this.
BUT a package arrived with 2 extra products, and a total charge of $41.85. (The two products were Hoodiburst Gum, and HoodiaWater 1 unit.
Interestingly, they paid $2.54 for shipping, more than I had been charged, so clearly these were extras. My shipping charges were still shown as $1.95 on the invoice that came with the package. So clearly, this was a deceptive procedure... read full review »

I have been sent a bill for a healing remedies book that I don't have. The last book I received was the Big ?Black Book. in which there should not be a balance oweing. That last payment of $24.62 was paid on 9/13/08.

Direct TV Install
Skylink is the installer in my area for Direct TV. They provided me with the worst possible consumer experience I've ever had. It tops the list for horrible service. They were scheduled to install the service on a Wednesday, but did not call or show. I called several times (since I took time off to be there), and only received a voicemail. I did not get a call back. I kept calling and was able to schedule a second install date. They did not show or call to install AGAIN. I have tried to work things out with Joe Tajik at Stevens Creek Showcase auto dealership. They sold me a 1992 Mercedes Benz that is rife with problems ( Only God knows what the true mileage on this car is, because the speedometer is not correct). On 9/27/08, less than 30 days of the purchase(9/6/2008), I try to return the microwave because the door did not open correctly and the defrost button did not work either. The costumer services representative Adrian Nazarett verified my complaint and told that they will give me a new one. I requested my money back but he refused because I did not bring the original box. Then I requested an store credit to buy another brand but Mr. Nazarett refused too. I went to try on some gowns at Burton's Bridal while I waited for my florist appointment. I didn't have an appointment but there was no one in there at one point. I recieved UPS a check for $3800.00 and then recieved instructions to cash it, take 10% off the top and then Western Union the rest (less the Western Union charge-generous huh?) of the cash to some place in England that doesn't seem to exist. Not only that but out of curiousity I took it to my bank to see what they would say and the teller immediately said to take it to the police.
