I bought a Nikon D40x earlier this year from Ritz. Ritz will try to charge you $114 to send a lens to Nikon if anything goes wrong and you did not buy the extended warranty. Even when you tell them your product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, they will argue and tell you it's not since you did not purchase the extended warranty. The long and short of it is that I believe Cottman Transmission tried to rip me off by having me agree to a complete transmission replacement when all that was needed was a fluid change/transmission service. I bought the top of the line extended warranty that Pikes Peak Acura offers, but so far I had to pay $330.00 for faulty equipment. I paid a lot of money for ths warranty service, and I feel that the warranty should have covered these repairs. Local furniture store in Rutherford, NJ is nothing but a pain in the neck. Back in April 2008, my husband and I brought a dinette set. Upon delivery, to our surprise, two chairs were a different color than the rest of the set. We were told that they were temporary replacements as the other chairs were being ordered and shipped. The website charged a subscription fee of $100 per year but began blocking my service provider IP numbers from access to the website, preventing me from viewing any content of newspaper articles in pdf format. Please be advised that if you sign up for Time Warner "Price Lock" you are under contract for 2 years, and there is a cancellation fee.
