Received a charge from Jrb Roofing on nov 16, 2007 for $432.56 on my visa credit card statement, called credit card co. and registered complaint, told to fill out form and return, did, but checked farther, i live in alabama. This charge was for material & labor, no way, this is a 'company' located in the Broadwalk Apartments on 1825 S. Stevens St. tacoma, was no answer at phone listed, (wonder way) and apartment management will not give out any info, contacted locate police and will have to come in to fill out report. They billed my credit card prior to the cancellation trial period. When I tried to cancel they would not do it unless I got a confirmation No. and went into their web site to cancel. My computer was down and I had to go to another computer to cancel and get the charge off my credit card. I applied for a payday loan, read over the terms and did not see anything for this so called "theft protect service." I didn't authorize this nor remember anything about them in the agreement. Ordered JVC camera Dec 3, 2007. They required me to call to confirm order. Lied to me and told me only a 20 minute demo battery came with the camera and tried to sell me a $189 battery. When we moved into our home we purchased new appliances for our kitchen-all Whirlpool Gold. I had a service call within the first three months for the electric stove saying it didn't heat properly. Two technicians were sent to our home and told me it showed the proper heat level. I stood my ground saying it may be working ok right now, but it doesn't always hold it's temperature. I have lived with this problem since then and now the control panel has gone and the quote was $496.00 to repair the over that hasn't worked properly from day one. Dell uses DHL shipping company to send electronics when purchased online. I purchased a very expensive piece of electronics and it was shipped by DHL out of California. I used the ability to track shipment online and saw they would attempt delivery on the 13th which is the day I was out of state on business.
