Pocket Rocket Mini Bike - MiniPocketRockets.com
September 5, 2007
My husband and I wanted to buy an end of school year gift for our two boys. We contacted a company by the name of "MINIPOCKETROCKETS.COM." Two days after ordering we were informed our credit card was denied. Confused because we hadn't used this card in a long time since it was paid off. We asked they run it again. As the children are anxiously waiting for their well earned gift, we get another call that the card is still denied. Well, I said there must be something wrong with the bank and I ordered the bikes with my bank card. The... read full review »

Sofa Express - Easton, MD
September 5, 2007
In April of 2007, I purchased a sectional and a set of end tables from the Sofa Express store in Easton. At that time, I was preparing to move to a new apartment and wanted to order furniture in advance so that they can be delivered to my new apartment in July of 2007. Before I placed the order, I was informed by a sales associate named Jerry Eldridge that the furniture was not in stock, so it was possible to place an order for the furniture and hold the furniture for a July delivery date once they become available. The scheduled delivery date... read full review »

PODS - www.pods.com
September 5, 2007
PODs. They are nationwide and on line. They are unbelievable! I ordered two pods, did NOT order blankets or locks, in fact went to U-Haul and bought my own items. Nevertheless, they loaded these items in to the POD containers, apparently expected me to remove them and return them to the driver who picked the pods up and when I didn't they charged me $119/month to rent blankets and a lock I never even used! You can never reach management, only surly people at customer service, and they continue to charge and charge and charge. Beware of these people. They are AWFUL read full review »

Idearc
September 5, 2007
I would like to hear from anyone that has a ad in the Veriszon yellow pages and that had the ad renewed without your authorization when the publication of the yellow pages was assumed by Idearc. Idearc tells me that a letter was mailed to me in August of 2006 advising me that my ad would automatically renew unless I advised them otherwise. However, I never received that letter. The only letter I received from Idearc was in January of 2007 stating that Idearc took over publication of the Verizon Yellow Pages in November 2006, too late... read full review »

eTrailer.com
September 5, 2007
During spring 2007, I purchased a bike carrier and trailer hitch from etrailer.com. After only one weekend camping trip, the hitch bent to the point that the bike carrier was nearly dragging on the ground. When I contacted etrailer.com with news of their equipment's substandard performance, I was disappointed to discover that etrailer.com did not stand behind its equipment. etrailer.com invited me to return the defective equipment that I had purchased--but only at my own expense! In my opinion, that is hardly the position that a... read full review »

Budget Rental Car
September 5, 2007
Orbitz booked my flight with car at budget on my walmart visa. They charged my card and when i went to pick up the car budget said they wanted another 100.00 on a different credit card. They would not accept the card i had already booked with the airlines. I had to go to another car company. Budget finally agreed to charge back 89.00 since i didn't get the car. Problem was that now i did not have the money to rent another company since i used the money on that card. I spent from 10am until 5 pm in the office of the other company until... read full review »

Sharp Aquos
September 5, 2007
My Sharp Aquos broke down within eight months of purchase. I have tried to get them to send out a repair person. The best they can do is a seven day wait in the Metropolitan area of Riverside/San Bernardino of California. This is unacceptable. All I get from their customer support is dropped calls, numerous menus and very limited dispatch hours. Bought it at Sears Roebuck. Beware people! read full review »

Premier Renovations & Construction
September 5, 2007
This July (2007) I hired Bruce Barner of Premier Renovations & Constructions, Atlanta from an internet advertiser website for the renovation of my house. His profile said he was a member of Better Business Bureau and he offered me left over marble from another job at a very low rate and I immediately fell for the fraud. Even before we had finalized and signed the contract he talked me into giving him $ 4000.00 to order materials. He immediately started on some demolition work, before even getting a permit (resulting in stop work order from... read full review »

September 4, 2007
I placed an order for lights on May 12th. I was told they would ship June 18th. Then July 27th. Then Aug 27th. Here it is Sept 4th, and still no lights and no response to my emails, calls, etc. If you try to talk to service status, you are ALWAYS put into a voice message and the calls do not get returned (they say it could take up to 2 days). If you talk to Sales staff, they assure you they will look into the order and call you back tomorrow. HA!!! Do yourself a favor and go to any other company, even if they cost of the product is more! read full review »

I purchased my new Toshiba 50HP66 50 inch plasma TV online on August 2, 2007. It arrived on August 7. The TV will power up and show a picture for about 3 minutes, then the picture disappears - sound continues for another 2 minutes then the whole TV clicks off. Peter Chan/Kingston Garden
September 4, 2007
Peter Chan, the landlord of the condo I rented last year (in the Kingston Garden), actually had the nerve to #1 charge me for a light bulb that had burnt out in the ceiling fixture (had been out for months, $15), #2 charge his "made up rate" for cleaning after we moved out (*we had spent a good 4 hours making sure the place was spotless) for the new tenants (literally- he and his wife vacuumed - decided it was worth $50), #3 charged us $5 to replace a piece of blind that was missing before we moved in (just to name a few examples). ... read full review »

Lawn Doctor Acworth-Woodstock
September 4, 2007
I regret to say that the Acworth-Woodstock franchise of Lawn Doctor refused to honor their agreement with me. Their employees came and sprayed my yard in June, and within a few days, most of my grass was dying. I telephoned the office and found they were unresponsive to my complaint. About 12 years ago when I first stepped into the Gold's Gym Club in San Diego - CA located in the vicinity of SDSU, where I was studying, I was fascinated. That gym was huge, sparkling, and gorgeous. I have recently moved from Aurora IL (a suburb of Chicago) to San Antonio TX. I got a membership at the Gold's Gym #0782, located at 1602 Babcock Rd San Antonio, TX 78229. Corelle, Dishes
September 4, 2007
I have experienced that the Corelle Dinnerware set purchased some 15 years ago to have a very explosive nature. Some of the dishes exploded just sitting in the cabinet, but the last experience almost maimed my wife. Their needs to be some sort of warning sent out about this product. This could be very dangerous to anyone as when these dishes explode they shatter into millions of small pieces of glass, like the shrapnel of a bomb, that can limbed into the skin and unless removed can cause death. The human body does not expel glass as do... read full review »

I followed instructions in the Nokia 6126 manual to the letter. It wouldn't let me enter any PIN security code and when I made a 3rd attempt, it locked up and kept asking for a PUK code. Pure Energy Products, Inc
September 4, 2007
I have read many complaints on this product. The scam is exactly the same. I ordered some sample product, gave my credit card number for the shipping charge. A short time later my credit card was charged $149.95 and pills were sent to me that I did not order. I was able to speak to someone at Pure Energy Products and was told that I signed a contract. I DID NOT sign a contract. I was able to get my credit card company to reimburse the charges after I returned the product. Now there is a collection company after me for pills I did not order and I returned. How is this legal? How is this company getting away with this? Its definitely a scam. read full review »

LG Front Load Washer and Dryer
September 4, 2007
The washer there is no way to pause the machine while someone has a shower. The pause button only works for a short short period of time. There is now way to determine what cycle the machine is in, so when you need to switch it off, then you need to restart the load. The bleach compartment is questionable. The dryer it produces wrinkled clothing. There is no automatic cool down on the machine. This means that the user must manually adjust the temp or remove clothes when they are damp to hang to dry. I would expect more from such an expensive machine. read full review »

I went to Dr. George Kimmerling several years ago because I had symptoms of low thyroid - he is an endocrinologist.
