I booked a Sansui DVD combo on 25th October, 2007. I received the delivery of the same on 27th October, 2007. I noticed that the sound was not proper on the same day. My car is supposed to be paid off in 2 notes. Speaking with a rep I asked them to confirm my payoff date. Now they tell me I owe an additional $2000.00 due to accrued interest! I have always paid my note. I've been late several times but always been careful to pay my late fees. The guys says it's not late fees its a simple interest loan so it is accrued interest. I canceled my account with this company June 19, 2007. I paid my balance in full at the time. Since then I have received 3 billing statements. Each time I have called them and told them that this account is closed and on what date I closed it. Because of their $35.00 late fee I have a new balance of $82 and some change. 1. I leased a brand new LR2 a few months ago and 2 weeks later found out is was a lemon--the car would die as I was driving. The dealership was going to sell me another car at a "good price" and was instead trying to upsell me and went back on their deal. I finally asked them to just switch me to another LR2. I purchased a 350 Litre refrigerator from Capital Electronics, Ultadanga Kolkata. The refrigerator has turned out to be a faulty one as it doesn't have any cooling. The Videocon officials, when contacted, insisted that I should get it repaired - which to me is utterly shocking. It is the obligation of the Company to immediately replace the product if it has got a manufacturing defect causing malfunctioning without even its having been put to use. I went to get a replacement SIM for my Vodafone number, and was told it will take 2 hours for activation. Its been over 24 hours now, and the SIM is still not activated. The best part is that the Vodafone Shop at Ansal Plaza, New Delhi, does not have a telephone number listed on Just Dial or even with Vodafone itself!! SO when I called Vodafone Customer Care they told me that I should go back to the shop, as they have not received a request for activation. It is surprising that Vodafone does not have a contact list of their authorized stores. Such pathetic service & I have been their customer for 8 years!! I took my Louis Vuitton scarf to Crisp-N-Clean dry cleaners in Jalan Talawi, Bangsar, KL. They sent it off for dry cleaning and it came back totally ruined (wrinkled, faded, thinner and totally different to when I took it in, I can't even see the LV pattern on the scarf anymore). The scarf was a birthday gift and cost RM1,500. Crisp-N-Clean are not willing to provide compensation for even half this amount. Heinold & Feller Tire Co - Valparaiso , IN On 10/27/07 I brought my 2002 Audi TT to Heinold & Feller for an oil change and spark plug change. They charged me $28.22 for each spark plug without labor just parts. These plugs, (NGK PRF6Q) are much cheaper. The highest price I found was $14.58 each at the Audi dealer. I called and spoke to Mike who said that is what they paid. He also stated that everybody has a mark up on parts. Which I agree with, but not doubling the price. On July 23, 2007 I took my Buick to Alternative Transmissions by Jack Dempsey in Winter Garden for a Radiator replacement. I had already purchased the replacement radiator at a Parts Store for $250 before I went to save time. Bill, the Manager gave me a estimate for $70 and said it would be ready in 1 hour. Purchased Wendy's Chicken Nugget meal at restaurant on McHenry Ave and Coolidge in Modesto, CA. Despite that it was late in the evening (11:30 pm), I did not expect the nuggets to be tasteless, rubbery, and appeared to have been sitting for HOURS.
