We bought a stereo system from Cartoys in 2007 for around 2500.00, at the time they offered an interest free deal ...we took it. CARTOYS set up the account. We even had them add 50.00 a month to the monthly due payment to ensure the expiration date would be met far ahead of time, we even had it automactically with drawn from our bank account NEVER missed a payment. I accessed this firm on my iPhone and thought I was calling Pop-A-Lock. Despite being called by the name Pop-A-Lock, the person who answered the call never corrected me or identified the name of his firm. Before beginning, he required that I sign a blank work order (will never do that again). When he was finished, he charged me $79.50. Pop-A-Lock and Yellow Cab charges $35.00. I still can't find him and he is still trying to get people to sign up for his bogus bike building tour. If you send this guy money you are asking to never see it again!! He will rip you off and you not get your bike built or money back...read his web site...non-refundable deposit!!! An auto mechanic from Gateway Tire and Auto on Cool Springs Blvd in Franklin, TN lied and cheated me. I had AutoZone run my check-engine light before I dropped the car off and was told there was a problem with my transmission. The repair center replaced a $500 fuel injection system without my consent or even calling with the diagnosis. One week later this brand new fuel injection system is broken and they refused to honor their guarantee without charging me another $186 diagnostic fee! We purchased a 2005 Cadillac CTS from BRM in November 2009, they led us to believe that this vehicle had been in a minor fender bender and that they had repaired and repainted the bumper and blended the sides to match. After company admitting they sent the wrong axle they refuse refund knowing that we had taken apart the axle they did pay for the return of product which was refused once it was there. Company only wants to refund the amount of money in which they have left over from our original purchase and wants us to have the axle returned to us and see what we can do with it. In 2008 I purchaed an aftermarket automobile warranty for my 2003 Mercedes C240. The warranty company was Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. I had two claims that went fine. One in 2008 and one in 2009. I put in a third claim two weeks ago thru my dealer for $911.47. I am being told that Fidelity has had one of their "adjusters" review the claim and I am only entitled to $237.38. We agreed on a price, he said he verified the price with the sales manager. Everyone understood I had 2 days to wait for my income tax check to hit my bank account via direct deposit. I am not as pissed as I should be considering all the headache I have been through with Brakes 4 Less. I must say that their service recovery is outstanding and they do honor their warranty. In saying that I must also say that I got my brakes done back in March of 2009 and I have had to take my van back 6 times already.
