I took my vehicle to the local dealership with an intermittent reverse problem. It was tested there for a full day and they ran all the necessary tests, all of which came back with everything working correctly, including oil and fluids being clear, electronics, etc. and that all gears were working including reverse. They scammed my son and removed a few parts from his car and replaced them with older defective parts. They also tried to tell him the spark plugs were bad after he put new platinum plugs in the car - of course they didn't know he did his own tune-ups!! Bought vehicle from them in december 2006. From the very begging we have been lied to from getting wheels on our car, to refinancing, to trading in. I was a victim of auto theft. I went to enterprise to pick up a car. Even though insurance paid up to 500.00 I was still charged a deposit and had to pay of the rental. After the 500.00 coverage was over I was being charged 25.00 a day. Only after they charged my debit card weekly they called and told me they charged my account. They left me in the negative weekly. Bob Brady Automall in Decatur, Illinois, uses dishonest and flat out sleazy sales tactics that rip off anyone shopping at this dealership. A 16' lift gate truck that we rented from Budget, would not start after we got to our destination to move something. When we picked the truck up from the dispatching dealer, he told us that diesels were slow to start but that if anything should happen, we should contact their customer service line. I purchased a very expensive extended auto service warranty which claims to be bumper to bumber to protect my engine and other electrical and mechanical components on the engine of my 2002 Corvette convertible. I went ahead because I really needed to be covered asap, with the intention of changing insurance companies as soon as possible in mind. BE VERY CAREFUL conducting business with O'Reilly Auto Parts. Look close at their return policy. If you use a credit OR debit card and need to return a defective part, they will only credit the ORIGINAL card. This means if you change bank accounts or credit cards, you will be stuck holding the defective part. This policy is an outrage. They are ripping people off. In December 2007, Chrysler offered to pick up the last 5 payments of our existing lease if we would lease a new Chrysler. We took the letter into the dealer and made them an offer which was accepted. It seems that when I had need to have my windshield replaced under the "full glass" coverage I met with a few snags. The original place I went to have my windshield replaced clarified that they have consistent issues with Encompass paying on time due to Encompass' use of third parties. I purchased a Schwinn bike for my son in Jan 2008. The bike started to have problems after the first 3 weeks. The chain would continually come off the rear wheel. My girlfriend had recently purchased a "certified" used vehicle from Rally Motors of Moncton. It is a 2005 Hyundai Tucson GLV6 with 75, 000Kms at the time of purchase. During the test drive we noticed a lot of noise coming from the back and front ends with each bump.
