Last week I sent my delivery van to Carrier Transicold at City of Industry because the van’s refrigeration system stopped cooling. Two days later I picked up the van and found out the charges for this repairing was almost double as the previous one, which was the exact same repairing — inspecting, tightening, and refilling the refrigerant I had 13 months ago. My 2004 Dodge Diesel pickup’s transmission failed on Nov. 9th, 2009 in Colorado Springs. I had made arrangments with Elite Diesel in Pueblo that my truck could get done in a timley matter, being that i needed to get back to California. This transmission was under warranty with a shop in California. I should of not had to pay anything for a rebuilt transmission again; under warranty. I rented car from this company twice this year, both time I got old and beat up car one is 55, 000 miles and the second one is 45, 000 miles and full of problems like remote does't work, tire leaking air, odd noise, rattling... If you have to use the toll way in north texas which doesn't have toll booths they will send the bill to Enterprize and Enterprize will add another $10 administrative fee on top of your toll and charge to your credit card. On 01/29/10 I took my car to this shop to have my upper and lower ball joint replaced. The first estimation I got was for $559.00 and when I told him I wanted a better brand (Moog Brand) he raised the price for labor based only on the brand of the part to $670.00. This to me is unfair practices. We purchased an X5 from United BMW last year. It was a Certified Pre-Owned BMW. When we were talking to the salesman about purchasing the car he told us it had a 100, 000 mile warranty. After 50, 000 we would pay a $50 copay for maintance and repairs but that it covered everything but tires. Knowing how much it cost to repair a BMW we wanted to make sure it's covered. I bought 4 Primewell Tires 7 days ago and after 5 days of driving on them one went flat. Brought tire back to Firestone, they said that I must have hit a curb, I did not hit any curbs or potholes, there were no marks on the tire. Firestone of Hamden, CT would not give me a new tire. Will never again service my 3 family cars at Firestone. They are a complete rip off. I got an online quote on a Ryder truck rental: $54.00. When I went in to rent the truck, they tacked on a bunch of additional fees to the point that I paid about double the online quote (even without buying the additional insurance they offered). They said they would mail me a copy of the final receipt so that I could check the charges. The Thompson Service Department could not figure out what was wrong with my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I bought a 2006 GMC Denali from this car agency. I drove it to Palm Springs. The next morning, the rear end of the car was 4 to 5 inches lower than the front end. The vehicle suspension system had collapsed. I had to spend $831.92 on the installation of a new air suspension compressor. When I first called the car agency to ask how to fix the problem they were cooperative. But when I called and told them the cost to fix the problem no one would even return my calls. These are one of the most dishonest and arrogant used car sales people I have ever meet. We called them in January to inquire about a Certified Pre-Owned Porsche. If you sign up for this Extended Warranty you will be giving away from $1500 to $3000. I signed up only on the condition that I could cancel with 100% money back if I chose not to take it, after looking the warranty contract over. They tried to charge me a fee for canceling but I had them recorded and the sales person recorded that I could get a 100% no fee money back deal. It got crazy when they tried to take payment before the agreed upon date and the funds weren't there and caused me a $35 fee.
