Ford Motor Company / 2002 Taurus
March 3, 2007
I own a 2002 Taurus purchased in Nov 2001. It currently has 57,400 miles on it, is well maintained, and was never wrecked... HOWEVER, this past week we have had a front coil spring break on the roadway which ruptured a tire, tore a CV boot, and damaged the front struts. The following day after the FRONT suspension damage was repaired, a REAR spring broke while it was PARKED in the service garage. The noise was heard by two of the mechanics. Total cost for replacement of all 4 springs, front struts, CV boot, new tire, towing, labor etc. ... read full review »

National Car Rental
March 3, 2007
I was on a business trip in Charleston, SC last month and got a National rental car at the airport, based on best price. I didn't immediately check it out thoroughly because I was expecting to be met by a rep on the way out to go over the car. However, nobody stopped me and by the time I realized nobody would be checking out the car I was on main road. It wasn't really until I stopped and looked around did I realize that the car had not been cleaned at all inside or out -- there was trash on the floor and the cupholders were... read full review »

Bill Seidle Chevrolet - Clermont, FL
February 27, 2007
My wife bought a fully-equipped 2007 HHR “LT” from Seidle Chevrolet less than a month ago. She had no complaints and loves her car. However, after making the final deal, she was called twice back to appear in person at your dealership in Clermont (a 25 mile round-trip) to re-do paperwork that the staff had bungled. No one offered her a tank of gas, a gift certificate or any compensation. Then, yesterday, January 26th, 2007 she experienced a sudden flat tire, left front, while driving in Ocoee. 970 miles were on the... read full review »

Hyundai Motor India / Verna Car
February 26, 2007
Hyundai Verna CRDI, a product of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. was purchased by me on 22.11.06. The wind screen (Front glass) developed a crack which is without any impact or accident. This is definitely due to manufacturing defect in the glass or some fitting defect by Hyundai. I am being harassed by the said Company since 15th Feb 2007 (date of complain) and till today, neither their helpline, nor customer care, regional and national customer care executives have bothered to redress the complain. My regular approach to the local helpline... read full review »

D & G Auto Repair - Paramus, NJ
February 23, 2007
Sept. 2006 I dropped my car off at the mechanic because my breaks were "rubbing". Al, the owner, advised me that I needed new front brakes. He replaced them for $250. The next day I heard a clunking sound every time I came to a complete stop, and returned to the mechanic only to be informed that the wrong size brake pads were used, but that "it wasn't dangerous". Then, I noticed within a couple of weeks that the brakes were making a very loud high pitched noise so I returned to his shop and asked him to take a look at... read full review »

2005 Chrysler Town & Country
February 20, 2007
We purchased 2005 Chrysler town and country, heard intermittent rubbing sounds when backing up since new. I went to Chrysler dealer ( THREE RIVERS CHRYSLER PITTSBURGH, PA.) to have rubbing noise checked as it was getting more frequent van has (13,113 miles). I was told I needed front rotors turned and new brake shoes and I would have to pay for the service. New Scooter Center - Black Widow Scooter
February 20, 2007
I bought a Black Widow Scooter from the above company as a Christmas present for my son. The scooter basically fell apart on Christmas Day. Among other things, the seat broke off when my son was riding it, and he fell and was injured. I have tried numerous times to contact them via e-mail, phone calls, 24/7 help line through their website, and have not received one single response. I am attaching my original letter to them. I plan to report them to their local BBB and possibly pursue legal action against them. Originally I was only hoping to... read full review »

Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme
February 19, 2007
I had booked a new Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme on the 13th of Jan 2007 from your dealers 'Ideal Motors, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore'. I am extremely frustrated to state that I haven't yet received the bike till date (19th Feb 2007). I had contacted the dealer several times and he gave me all sorts of reasons, 3 of which are painfully interesting, which I have provided below: 1. He told me that a new stock was delivered 2 weeks back, which consisted of only red and silver colored vehicles. Mine, being a black vehicle would still... read full review »

2000 Saab 95
February 16, 2007
I have a SAAB 95 Year 2000, a month after the warranty ran out my engine failed. I was told by many mechanics that this was a common problem of that years SAAB. The problem occurred, because the SAAB turbo-charger failed and caused an immediate loss of oil which in-turn destroyed the engine. SAAB has stonewalled indicated no responsibility for this issue. read full review »

I purchased a 2006 Saab 9-3T new from performance Saab of Houston, in Houston, TX. They were fine up until I had to bring the car in for service. That's when I started having problems with both the car and them. The car has been to the dealership so many times with so many different problems that I have only had to wash it myself twice in the past 10 months I have owned it. DaimlerChrysler - 2005 Chrysler 300C

We purchased a new 2005 Chrysler 300C in early 2004 and it is a lemon. We have hauled the car to the dealership six times and it still will not run. We have 25,000 miles on the car because it sits in the garage most of the time. I drive 50 miles to work each day and have sat on the side of the road many times. I have also been stranded in six lanes of traffic in St. Louis/Chesterfield MO (125 miles from my home) and it was a miracle I was not killed. Montrose Toyota - Akron, Ohio
February 12, 2007
We initially went with a sale on e-bay for a Prius 2001 with high mileage for a good price at Montrose Toyota in Akron, OH. We should have gone with our regular dealer Motorcars Toyota on the Heights because they are ethical whereas Montrose is not ethical and treats women like dirt! 2007 Lexus ES 350
February 11, 2007
I had a life threatening experience in my Lexus on Thanksgiving Day 2006. I was driving with 3 other family members to Payson, Az from Fountain Hills, Az. Payson is in the mountains at higher elevation. I like to use the cruise control when I am driving any distances. While in heavy traffic going up a mountain grade the car started accelerating itself. The ride was loose and jittery at highway speeds and there was excessive noise from the front end at any speed. Between 40 and 45 mph the front tires bounced uncontrollably. G&G Auto Service

A racist service center that will charge 300 percent mark up to parts and add an extra 1-2 hours charge to a job that only takes one max. I know more about cars then they realized. Charged 90 dollars for a 30 dollar battery, and they kept the old one to sell after they recharged it. They also doubled the price for a generic alternator that usually runs for 124 online they charged 230. To top it off, they charged 200 plus dollars for a one hour job max. After taxes and various other non sense charges (waste handling 20.00) it was 565 dollars. I have had that cars (crx) transmission installed for less. read full review »
