I bought a car 3 years ago from drivetime. They seem to think that my mechanics are stupid!!! I have had nothing but problems starting with the engine!!! Buyer beware!!! I got took!!! Purchased a jeep, 2 weeks later vehicle was stalled 2 blocks away and they told us where to take it and it could be fixed at their cost. It was the throttle piston sensor, which they knew the CHECK ENGINE light was on but they said it was a fuse. then the power steering pump had to be replaced. We had taken out a warrantee and none was covered. Later we found out the sun roof leaked which caused the computer system to quit working . read full review »

We hired a Europcar for one day at 10 am 0n 28 April 09 from Granada Railway Station, Spain. We returned it as per our booking and rental agreement on the same day at 5.30 pm to the designated Europcar bay at Seville Railway Station. We were not involved in any incident or accident during the day. When we returned the car it was in perfect condition with a full tank of petrol. However, our credit card was charged 410.46 euros on 30 April. We have received no correspondance from Eurocar. Several requests to customer service for an explanation and rectification remain unanswered. read full review »

Tires for my wifes Altama BF Goodrich from Sam's wholsale more than half the tread left belts broke was told it had a bent rim, bought a new rim it was not not the rim, had two tires with broken belts . Sam's would not adjust them, also service was as bad as I've seen, waited 2 hours to rotate tires. Will not buy from Sams again .Bought whole room sound system had to return to factory to fix. Hess gas stations offer fair, competitive prices for their gasoline. I would like, for convenience, to purchase my gas at the station located closest to me, which is @ 238 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02171 (station # 21518). Unfortunately, this station is very poorly managed so I often go out of my way and go to the Hess Station located on Gallivan Blvd., Dorchester, MA. Purchased seasonal snow tires due to travel for child's ice hockey team, first season no problem, although they insisted smaller tires were okay and not being a tire expert I trusted them only to find out later this really screws with your mileage and odometer. This past year, only second time tires were on car I started hearing a squeaking from back of car, had tires checked and removed since it was early April and found that the rear passenger tire had split from the rim down! I took my car into sears automotive for a front end alignment and two new tires. Well the salesman wanted to sell me a $88 dollar package for an oil change and coolant flush, but when I looked on the computer the total was already $477 so I so no, he said no I was on the wrong screen, he said it would be $377 for everything so I said go ahead. He said the car would be done in 1.5 hrs so we said ok. I brought a 2005 Burick Rendevoux 10/9/07. I took the truck back for a oil change 11/27/07. I was on my way home and th truck lost power at the end of the tunnel. I called them and they sent a tow truck for me. They had the truck f or almost three weeks. They replaced the fuel pump and wiring. Motor Cars Direct originally sold me a 2002 BMW that had been in a major accident which they failed to disclose at the time of sale. I took the car in to several different body shops to get expert opinion, both the BMW dealership - body shop and independent body shops. I was told by all of the body shops that the car had been in a major accident and it was reconstructed very poorly ! El Monte RV provide rentals and sales. They have a disgraceful General Manager who EXPECTS/DEMANDS quantity instead of quality from their already hard working employees. The RV's are NOT being sanitized properly because they are on a "budget", therefore their disinfectants and cleaners are all being diluted, thus not working as effectively as you would expect. I bought a Ford Escape used with about50, 000 four years ago. I'm have about 13 months left in payments. Here is just a short list. 1) Honeycomb grill: It is all plastic and held in place by two little screws. The grill broke at the screw location after having for 5 months. This company appears to be a completel ripoff! I have repeatedly provided them with all the requested information to settle my claim. They made me do all the colletion work. When I submitt to all their requirements, they send requests for further information in order to delay paying on my claim. Just today June 4 I went to WALT HEALY MOTORSPORT to pick up my motorcycle after it has had some work done to it. A change of tires. Once there to pick it up I was told that there was a problem with my speedometer cable and mount on the front tire, it was explained to me but not very well. Anyways. I work for United Airlines and I rented an SUV from the OKC airport for a vacation trip to Destin Florida. I had my mom and my two small kids with me. Along the way I was stranded in Memphis, TN with major transmission problems. I called their road side assistance and it took them 2 hrs to send me a wrecker with another SUV that had bald tires. Is VWSA in contradiction of their own standards? How can VWSA state 'You will love them because they have been loved' on their website and ad material when the mastercar we bought has been confirmed to have been repaired by a non vw approved workshop prior to our purchase. I purchase a car back in May. 1996 Vw Golf Automatic. Within a week I found the oil was dangerously low, the central locking packed up, the blowers weren't working and on investigation had fused. Sears called at 5:32 pm (they close at 6 pm) to say they had changed the oil, checked the brakes but they couldn't fix the noise it was a problem with the rear end (he said seals were all shot). I usually have good sevice with these guys...Between this location and Murphysboro, I have had numerous oil changes and a coolant and transmission flush...But, on my last visit for an oil change they spilled oil all over my engine and gave me the wrong sticker that was over 2000 miles off before what the odometer said. I called UPS and they didn't have any information as to where my parts were. UPS told me to contact Parts Geek to find out where the parts were. I rented a car, long term, month to month for 4 months. Each month, I brought car back for full inspection. There was never a problem, minor damages were never noted, even after I expressed concern about small dents and even a deep large scratch on bumper. None of this was ever noted at time of initial pick-up, never noted at each monthly renewal. We were told "unless the bumper is cracked or comes off, we dont charge for minor scratches". I never go for the car wash from a gas station, but my truck was looking really bad, so I made the $7 selection for the deluxe and finished filling up.
