I bought an HD camcorner in Jan/2010. It was a $1400 camera and was told it had a 1 yr warranty by the sales rep at best buy. After no more than 6 uses it the LCD went black and it stopped recording 8 months later in Aug/2010. I called best buy and they told me to bring it in. I got a Sony Ericsson C903, brand new, sealed handset (with bill and warranty) in May 2010. Within a month, the phone started giving problems. There were call problems, the keys hardened, the music tracks would skip/hang up, volume was bad, etc. I submitted my phone to the Service centre at Platinum Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, India. In December of 2009 I purchased a Sony Vaio Laptop for my daughter to use in college. Cost of laptop was $697.11, wasn't a cheap one. On September 23, 2010 (9 months later) the hard drive crashed. I submitted forms and UPC code to claim a rebate on this item which was purchased from newegg.com I mailed it with delivery notification. Logitech never sent me an email confirmation of receipt. I phoned logitech's service rep. She said, mail my xeroxes and original of UPC code. Of course, I don't have the original of the UPC code since that was submitted. This is clearly a corporate scam. Our Washing machine broke on Sep 20th - have the Sears 5 year warranty (what a joke). First appt available was Oct 2nd! Late on Oct 2nd, the Tech called to tell us he did not have the parts-they had to be ordered! Sears did nothing between being notified and the first appt (12 days-they were given the Error Code on Sep 20th) Had to wait for back ordered parts with next appt Oct 14th. I recently purchased my Nu Wave Oven on line in 8/2010. I have used it about 8 times. About the 3rd time, a loud noise started coming from the vent like the sound of a fan about to shut off. My other issues are about the same as some other people's reviews. The melting, the having to turn food over. The bottom of the Nu Wave is so HOT it caused the glue from my countertops to melt. I was ripped off by Rob Poston Avatar-Computer repair. I decided to go with him because I found him on Google and with couple good reviews. Now I'm thinking they were his own reviews! I allowed him to come pick up my system and after finally hearing back from him, the diagnosis really didn't sound right, so I told him never mind, I could just take out my hard drive and use it as a secondary. The end of my case, came to this...they did not repair my computer and charged me $200 dollars! The pre-installed Motion Computing software has the appearance of software developed in the early 1990's.
