Our Washing machine broke on Sep 20th - have the Sears 5 year warranty (what a joke). First appt available was Oct 2nd! Late on Oct 2nd, the Tech called to tell us he did not have the parts-they had to be ordered! Sears did nothing between being notified and the first appt (12 days-they were given the Error Code on Sep 20th) Had to wait for back ordered parts with next appt Oct 14th. I recently purchased my Nu Wave Oven on line in 8/2010. I have used it about 8 times. About the 3rd time, a loud noise started coming from the vent like the sound of a fan about to shut off. My other issues are about the same as some other people's reviews. The melting, the having to turn food over. The bottom of the Nu Wave is so HOT it caused the glue from my countertops to melt. I allowed him to come pick up my system and after finally hearing back from him, the diagnosis really didn't sound right, so I told him never mind, I could just take out my hard drive and use it as a secondary. The end of my case, came to this...they did not repair my computer and charged me $200 dollars! I purchased a Motion Computing J3500 computer. Considering the high-cost of this computer, the overall quality of this tablet computer is severely disappointing. The pre-installed Motion Computing software has the appearance of software developed in the early 1990's. Warn is batting 0-2. I bought an xd 9000i for my business. The winch needed a complete overhaul--solenoids and new control switch--just after its warranty expired. Control switch, made of welded plastic, cost $100 to replace. Solenoids, about $200. I worked hard and found identical solenoids for $60 through DB electrical. I split the contoller open, made repairs and duct-taped it back together. The winch had only been used on two occasions and was stored inddors when not in use. Telecom could not solve this problem and advised me to contact Norton and ask them to uninstall my computer protection and see if I could get onto the internet in an attempt to localise the problem .
