I handed my HTC Google phone in for repairs at the MTN service provider in South Africa after the screen did not switch on, calls were hanging up, poor reception etc and I also reported the problem on HTC's website. After more then 4 weeks now no one can tell me the status is or what is wrong with the phone. Every time I phone in they tell me "the main board is delivered today" - it seems like that day never comes? Neither the service provider, HTC nor the HTC web service where the problem was reported have an idea what's going on or when I can expect an answer. The one blames the other... Be very cautious with this company. They don't do what they promise on their website and what is even worse, ther take no responsibility for their actions. I purchased Nokia X2 from Carrefour Avenues Kuwait yesterday 22 Sept 2010 at 11:00 pm and once I reached home I opened the carton and inserted the simcard, it stopped reading sim card within an hour. It was already mid-night so I took the phone today 23 Sept 2010 after returning from the work. The customer service instead of replacing the faulty piece just collected the phone and gave service order and asked to call later to know my fate. The Flip Ultra HD Model U212OW is a defective product because it cannot be properly recharged after drainage of the battery. All sorts of error messages ensue.
