I'm writing from Turkey. I bought an external drives in Iowa in January (actually I live in Turkey, but I went to U.S.A. for internship so I bought this external in there) I used it a few months but there is a problem with the external cable. I think there is a loose connection because if the cable moves a little bit, the connection goes. The connection always diseppears and I have to fix the external to the pc again. The owner of the shoppe is selling very poor quality goods at a very higher rates then market price. there are no M.R.P. Tags on many goods in his so called shoppe which misguide the customer. I bought a Dell Latitude D630 for my small business. The computer is more expensive than other options. However the battery only lasted 11 months. I called Dell Support after 12 months had passed and they would not replace my battery. Do Dell batteries only last about a year? I purchase their Regdefense registry cleaner software this morning and used it and it crashed my whole computer to the point of no return. System Restore wouldn't even work. It acted just like a virus by wiping out all windows programs by making them into shortcuts that lost their original programs. All DLL files were wiped out. We received an addition charge of 9.99 on one of our cell phones on our family plan. We immediately called Sprint to report. They advised my 14 yo must have accepted the charge. We would have to contact the company itself. We then contacted TextPlansite.com and requested to cancel whatever it was they were charging us for. We received a message on the phone confirming cancellation. I just received my Sprint bill, and still have this charge for premium services at the TextPlansite.com Alerts. I was with VIRGIN MOBILE for one year and had alot of problems with ths company and there services. When I called their service department (apprently in India) it took 25 minutes to register my claim folled by a request to call back. I purchased a new laptop from circuit city in 2006, in 2007 I purchased the extended contract for 220.00 for 3 years of coverage, now that I need the insurance to repair the laptop all of a sudden they can't find any record of my purchasing the insurance, I have the exact dates, and cancelled checks for the payments for this worthless contract. Basically you are paying them to do nothing when they are needed. iStudio staff are rude, avoid anyone with a problem and then try and avoid making replacements under the Apple warranty schemes. They lie about warranty issues in the hope that you will buy a replacement. I have just had to stage a 'sit in' to get my three month old magsafe adaptor replaced after it failed and was tested by iStudio and found to be faulty.
