This is the THIRD HP printer I purchased which screws up intermittently and will not function, even though it is 'supposedly' compatible with other HP products, i.e., my HP pavillion a810e... Customer service locks you in an end loop of directing your call to other "how may I direct your call?" answerers. You WILL NOT receive help, nor will you ever see a dime of your hard-earned money be able to be used efficiently, properly, or returned for you to get a different product. On facebook tonight I was reading where a soilder had called hp about a printer and the technician told the soilder that he would have to charge him for the information that he would give him to fix his printer. My complaint is these men and women are fighting for our rights and to make sure we are never attacked again, and then you knuckle heads at hp want to charge them money for them doing their job. I bought a HP Laptop from Harvey Norman Thmostown with extended Warranty in Dec 2008. All I was trying to determine was the speed of the ram in a computer I had bought a while back. Of course it was out of warranty so 3 out of the 10 times I called them I got someone helpful, and those helpful tech support people (while being all but completely unknowledgeable about the product) could not answer my simple question. I purchased my Sony Vaio laptop last year in March 2009. Now its just been over a year and the fan is making so much noise that it is impossible to work on it. I tried going back to the shop where i bought it from but they said that your warranty has finished and this is a problem with all Sony Vaio's so we cant help you. I have to get it fixed by paying Dhs 500 for the fan and even that comes without a guarantee. Why should i pay for this manufacturing fault?! Toshiba Tecra computer Serial. # 46031296H was returned under warranty to Toshiba Notebook Depot for repair. It was NOT repaired or tested before returning it to customer. The CD/DVD drive still does not functional nor can be found by computer and the screen now flickers. It is in worse condition than when sent to Toshiba for warranty repairs. In my business I always have several UPS's in operation. I used to swear by tripplite until I had a power failure incident. The power went out and the battery failed shortly thereafter. When the power came back on it came on "dirty" and one computer system plugged into the UPS was completely fried, CPU, CD drive and power supply (back when systems were in the 3000 range). Spectronic /proton custermer service was lacking in its delivery of troubleshooting my request for the removal of the stand from its 42' Protron TV. I asked for directions on its removal which was not in its manual. I've had the tv for 3 months and no technican is able to remove the stand, Also their 20' TV has been returned for a second time because the (SAP) second audio program is in spanish ans several of the mail networks has no audio.
