I ordered a 1GB 533 MHz (PC4200) memory module from ShopBySytem an authorized reseller for Gateway Computer. What I received was a 1 GB 667MHz (PC5300) memory module. The PC5300 would work in my computer but only if it was the only module in the macine. It would not work when combined with the two existing PC4200 modules which was of no value to me as I had wanted a totla of 3 GBs. I bought a lenovo Power Adapter for my daughters notebook in Saudi Arabia. 2 weeks later, while on holiday in Europe this thing nearly electrocuted me, when I plugged it in. I ordered my Droid X at 2:00 in the morning on the 15th. The next morning I had a confirmation e-mail from Verison and information how to track the status. I looked at it about 9:00am and it said something and at the end it said call tomorrow. This guy sold me some refurbished Ink cartridges at his store in Orange CT. He assured me that the 45$ I wasspending was a "Great savings" When I looked at the cartridges he sold me I realized that holes had been drilled through them and some sort of a plug was put in the hole that was drilled. We have approached the vendor to resole the problem he had send his service engineer to repair the floppy drive, which was not functioning. On checking the system his engineer communicated that there is fault in motherboard, as floppy drive and motherboard are not compatible and remedy is to replace motherboard and on November 5, 2006 when Mr Rajput checked the system, he communicated that fault is due to faulty CPU body. Buyer beware...I had my computer looked at for $200. After a few days the problems all came back. I called them to complain and said that I only had five days to call and complain. It would be another $80 to fix. I passed and said I wsas not interested. It nowturns out that they were charing me a service fee of $59.97 every 3 months for service I was not using nor did I authorize this charge. I called acer for customer support, their recording has some issues so it hung up on me 4 times. so i found another number, the agent wanted to charge me $129.90 just to talk to a technical support agent on the phone. I am not kidding, I was pretty shocked too when I heard it. Now, it is extremely for me to reach acer, i dug up a number of phone numbers from them, but none of them lets me talk to agents. I have a number of laptops at home, such as HP, whenever I call them, they always answer me with a nice attitude and help solve my problem. I purchased a Lexmark X6575 and when I ran out of ink purchased a remanufactured ink cartridge from a company I have trusted for years. There is nothing wrong with the reman cartridge, but the printer will not show me what my ink levels are.
