I ordered a camcorder advertised for $229.00. I completed my order. Two days later I received an E-mail to call a 1-800#. When I did I was told that the camcorder I ordered was no longer made. When I ordered it they said it was in stock. I told them to cancell my order immedietly and went back to their web site to look at other camcorders only to find out that the exact camcorder that they said was no longer made was for sale by them except that they had raised the price to $399.00. My Compaq Presario V3015 NR had to be serviced due to the monitor screen being broken. I sent it in to HP beginning of August they received it August 12th. Each time I would check on its status the expected return shipment was pushed back until a MONTH later it said status : canceled. Beware of Acer's warranty policy. If your computer needs to be fixed while under warranty the customer is responsible to pack and ship it to their repair center at your own expense. Ordered HD TV from direct tv they sent incompetent installer who could not install hd tv after 4 hours he left called Direct tv to complain was hung up on 4 times then they said at least he was on time. Would reschedule in about 2 weeks they did not care about customer satisfaction and told me this is the real world said a manager on the phone. back in june 06 they setup the plan wrong. Called them many times and everytime they said "plan is okay". Finally in Sept 07 I talked to a rep that found the problem and fixed and she backed tracked all the extra charges to come up with 146 dollars or so. She submited the credit, but it was denied because they only do 60 days back. So they only gave me credit for the past 2 months.
