I did not renew my annual Forbes magazine subcription in the fall of 2008 for $59.95. A sales representative called to offer a 3 year subscription for $79.95. I accepted. My credit card statment in May, 2009 had an entry: USA PUBLISHERS INC 866-281-3063 FL with a charge of $79.95. I began receiving the magazine again. My 3 year subscription should not run out until fall, 2011. Since I did not renew the yearly subscription for $59.95, why am I getting billed? I won 50 dollars in december 2007 and received an email stating that fact and 8-10 week for delivery of check. No check... now I want to cancel my membership and they will not after asking them about a dozen times. I am deaf and depend on the close-captioning for my movie enjoyment. I have been using the close-captioned device since it was invented. When I see there is a movie I would like to see on the Hallmark channel, this feeling of dread just comes over me because either the captioning is not working or what the words are being said is not simultaneous to what is being shown. A sad state of affairs for The Union Tribune in San Diego. The Union Tribune is the only large newspaper in San Diego. They have no competition and yet they are barely surviving. The newspaper has to cut back on their staff with a number of them being fired. The DishNetwork TV stands for true fraudism. They are advertising wrong information on their websites. They are advertising less but charging more at the time of enrollment - mentioning reasons like "website may not be upto date". Also, coming to the main problem - I called up to enroll without knowing that they are frauds. I took lessons at Fred Astaire of Westminster because I had taken lessons at F.A.'s in another city and had an enjoyable experience. This dance shop is far from enjoyable. At my previous studio my instructor was knowledgeable and had been dancing for the better part of a decade. For the last several games of Tri Nations Rugby on Sky Sports HD they have failed to show the New Zealand National anthem before matches and only the Haka. As a kiwi I have found this to be very disrespectful as instead of showing the national anthem they have some Australian TV pundit talking instead which is extremely insulting and inconsiderate. If the English national anthem was interrupted by a Tv pundit I am sure people would be very upset and complain too. I called to get Uverse and AT&T telephone service. The day of the installation (2 weeks later was the soonest they could do) the technician never calls, and "claims" to have knocked at my door within the 2 hour window. I had been there the whole time watching for him as I work from home and my office is near the front door!
