I have been getting mailing from this group for years, titled "Notice of Renewal" and showing a magazine I do subscribe to and presenting me with the amount due, who to make the check payable to and where to send the check. In small print elsewhere on the mailing it is said: "This is a magazine subscription offer, not a bill or invoice". Only once did I bite and send a check to renew an existing subscription, but nothing happened. The real publisher later sent me a true bill. The way they could improve this restaurant is to rebuild it. The staff also needs work and the Owner is a disagreeable person. He has many times made my ears hurt over the cost of an extra tartar sauce. They like to toss it in front of you and say "eat". The owner does not believe any customer should complain as long as he keeps the doors open. The cooks have no trouble arguing with you over food taste. I was bitterly disappointed and upset to learn recently that Subway are using Halal slaughtered meat in many of their London restaurants (I'm not sure about their other UK stores). I used to be a regular customer at Subway but I will no longer set foot in any of their outlets and neither will my friends. Because my meal was well over priced, I asked just to have the burger and a water. The Manager, Ray, became upset because he had to do a void. Rudely and with attitude, he said, "What, you can't afford to eat here." I politely told him that I could, but I didn't want to pay a high price for a small meal.
