After returning a DVDPlay to a Red Box kiosk by mistake and discovering the problem with extra charges for a dvd that I didn't have in my possesion, I was furious that a Red Box machine just took my DVD even though it knew it was not a Red Box DVD. Red Box basically stole my DVD and their customer service is 100% complete crap. I too fell for the Comcast $200 in grocery scam. Not only that you have to purchase $100 in groceries per month prior to receiving your purchase and they now want $1.95 processing fee and a copy of your drivers license to register if you complete it on line and $10 if you use the mail in option. I purchased a 55 inch Vizio from BJ's. 5 weeks after I set it up the picture disappeared intermittently. Vizio sent a repair man and he promised it was one of 2 parts and replaced them both. 2 weeks later the same problem. Vizio promised to replace the set with a brand new one. I called AT & T early this year as I wanted to switch from Comcast to AT&T U-verse. AT&T told me that I did not have U-verse in my area and asked me to switch to DIRECTV till I have U-verse in my area. In recent weeks local Channels 9, 18 and certain Dish channels on occaisions have had a half screen blackout. The black-out is discontinued during advertising breaks. This is a nusience thing that lends its self to manipulation of viewers away from these channels. It is difficult to understand the self-defeating policies that seem to drive TV programming. A great example of this is the delayed (effectively non covering of the AFL finals games). Games through the season have been delayed by 30' - this was annoying enough, and now the latest insult, is the delaying of finals game coverage by 2 hours or so. Whose moronic idea is this? I bought the complete TV series of STARGATE SG1 on dvd. There is 50 dvds in the set. On the average, there is at least one episode per disc that does not play and will not let me go to the next episode.
