This is the second home that I have built. Never have I run into so many unresolved issues...not only did it take over 6 months to finish, it was done carelessly. The railing did not pass code. It was visible to low on the wall. They did not cut out a space for the hot water tank tobe vented. Many other seemingly simple issues that are required IN ALL NEW BUILDS> Scoot, the owner, was extremely evasive when confronted with the errors. He was rude. The Kenmore Elite Trio Refrigerator is a terrible product! I have had mine 1 year and 3 months and it has been nothing but trouble. I had either 4 or 5 service calls in the first year. The most serious ones involved the icemaker fan. A service call means getting off of work and being by the telephone from 8am to 5 pm waiting for a call from the service person. So that was 4 or 5 days off work. Having this refrigerator is like having a sick child. You will miss a lot of work. Had Bill Sharp installed a metal shake style roof that came with a 10 year worlmanship guarantee and 50 year material guarantee. I fell for this! I bought one for me and the "free" one was for a gift. I plugged mine in, put Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in both cups, turned around to get a plate out of the cupboard, turned back around and smoke was pouring out. While away for 2 1/2 months Pool-Aid was servicing our pool. Upon are unexpected return in early Sept. we found our pool had not been taken care of, the water was as green as the trees & sediment had settled on the bottom of the pool & sides. 3 year old refrigerator/freezer stops working, ice melts onto the floor and ruins the hardwood floor. Loss of food is expensive and 7 days without anything is very terrible. Also the door jam where the heater is to seal the door gets very hot, not only is it yellow now in color, but part is bowed out and cracking. Repair man says this is normal wear, and can't be fixed. Its only 3 years old and 6, 447.oo later this what I have to deal with. If it looks this bad now what is it going to look like 7 years from now. I had scheduled for a service repair on a Kenmore refrigerator. I filled out all the valid info. including my latest tel. and address. I received a confirmation e-mail letting me know that their would be someone coming between the hours of 1-5 to the address that I provided and if had any questions would call the telephone number I had provided. We have been struggling to get the amount of R5000 for a geyser that we replaced in the house of Mr Lee since April 2008.Mr Roux, the attorney, handling this complaint does not come back to us or give us any feedback on the case. I spoke to him three weeks ago and he said that if Mr Lee does not pay up within the next week he would take him to the court for small claims but up to this date we have not heared anything from Mr Roux. When the oil price is increase, all the things' prices are also increase. It's reasonable. However, the government has announced the oil price had decreased 15 cent. How about the things' prices? BEWARE if you are in dire need or just want to buy new furniture. TRS Furnishings is actually a collection agency as described by the Better Business Bureau! Sometimes people want to buy something new because their credit is not up to par. I was given the option to pay a "90 day same as cash". I had a picture window installed in July (2008). The second day after installation it rained and I noticed water in the inside track of the window. I called and they said that it was normal. I recently purchased living room set from this company and was assured everything was in stock and delivery was scheduled for the following week. Upon delivery my wife noticed everything was wrapped in dirty moving blankets and everything seemed to be display / used merchandise. I just came in from discovering more leaks in the plumbing of my spa. My tub has had one problem or another for more than 50% of the time. Before this spa I owned one from Home Depot that worked without a problem for 13 years. It actually moved with us 2 times. From day one my PDC Spa has been a nightmare. Simmons, what a joke!! They do not honor their warranty. My top of the line Exceptional mattress failed in less than a year with two trough like depressions where we lay. This was deemed "normal compression" by Simmons. I am told the more plush and expensive the mattress, the more likely this is to occur... it is conforming to our bodies. I had a bedroom set delivered for my daughter, although we did not pay alot, we did not expect great quality but something decent until she is older, then we'd buy a quality- long term furniture. Well boy did we make a mistake in buying from Bob's. We had to have the original set returned because of crack, nicks and blemishes. I bought a Hisense washing machine in Octber 2007 - hifi corporation delivered it home. In March 2008 this machine did not work properly. I phoned hifi corp only to be told that they cannot help me as i could not produce proof that i purhcased the goods ther. The Indian lady was extremely rude and unhelpful. My Mother purchased a hot water tank from Sears about 4years ago with a warranty. As of June 2008 it stop working. She called the repair department they came out and fixed the problem. This is with regard to the poor quality of service displayed time and again by both the LG customer care executives and the LG service engineers which has made me resolve not to indulge in any other LG product again. Only the lowest level of customer satisfaction can be the outcome of inefficient and untrained CCEs who for some reason miscommunicate every time to consumers like me. I don't want to get into the details of the nightmarish experiences I have had with the poor level of service displayed by LG.
