I just moved into a new house and have KitchenAid and Whirlpool appliances throughout the kitchen. The oven has had to be repaired 4 times, the frig water dispenser didn't work, the gas cooktop wasn't installed correctly and the dishwasher doesn't always start when you shut door. A&E gives an 8am to 5pm window and they have canceled the afternoon of day of appointment. Wow were do I begin. Vintage Glider is really one of the only sources for these gliders, except e-bay. We order a glider in March 08 and recieved it in June 08. I have asked local Advisor Which Country the Headrails for VERTICAL Blinds are manufactured. I was told they are made in Nottingham. I was told the Blinds are made to measure. I recently had a plumber to our house (8/18/08) from Weddle Plumbing to fix a leaky faucet (brand new) and plumbing. The gentleman was very nice and arrived in a timely manner. Part of the way through the job, he said he would need to use plumbers putty to adhere the drain trap to our new sink. He mentioned he would need to go back to the store to get this. If you order it, you might as well plan on hiring a moving team. Although this website's shipping policy says that the driver will assist you with getting the shipment off of the truck, I found out the hard way that you should be prepared that they won't. This service is very unprofessional and the service is very poor. We do acknowledge that the older/senior seasoned repair represenatives are very good and understand that the customer comes first. It is the younger and non-senior repair men that are very unprofessional and rude. The company needs to examine the way they do business before they will be forced to close their doors. We bought custom-made drawers from CTAD previously through EBAY. He went way over his promised delivery date but compensated by giving us free delivery. I purchased the RCA DVD recorder and VHS combo from Walmart in Fort Wright, Kentucky as a family gift in December of 2006. We didn't use it much because it was hard to configure correctly and get it to perform the function you wanted. Once my son started using the dvd recorder function, it only worked about a month. Bought fridge Nov 2005, Had problems ever since it has stopped completely even freezer section. Have had to get it fixed twice and while waiting for parts i had to use multiple eskies which was a complete hassle. And now all three of my shelves have BROKEN!! I haven't complained about anything as yet but now the three shelves will cost approx$200 the fridge is not quite 3 years old. After I was switched to Amigo from National Power company they charged me an outrageous charge of .2469 per kwh. I am on the phone with them for 1 1/2, but guess what I am on hold. When one of the coustomer service rep. named George come he said he would transfer me to the supervisor but no one is coming on the line. my paycheck is being or going to be docked per a bill that myself and ex-husband have not had for at least 6 plus years. I purchased a home in 2005 and everything was paid off at that time. My broker at that time took care of everything and now i am taking the fall for their improper billing charges. I recently purchased a washing machine from Sears Outlet in Deptford, N.J. When it was delivered it was found to have a slit in the drain hose. Do not purchase a Blackline Helena from Simmons or dealer. I bought my mattress from an online dealer in NC and received my Blackline Helena mattress in late June 2007. I agree with all the commentary about shoddy service from GE. I purchased a GE Monogram SS 48" grill w/ Rotisserie about 2 years ago (Dec 2005) and have not been happy since. A&E wins the All around award for worst customer service in the world. Whirlpool and A&E have taken terrible customer service and made it even worse. I am doing my summer fill I use one tank of lp gas per year and the cost to me will be 706.00 dollars for 300 gallons of gas. I feel this is outrageous for a heating and hot water cost especially when I heat my house primarily with a wood burning air tight stove. Is there ever any relief in sight???
