Had first month free, asked employee when do I pay for the following month. Was told that I will be getting a bill in the mail for september. I waited all throughout september for the bill nothing in the mail. Recieved a bill October 4th stating that I owe month of September and october plus a 50 penalty fee for not paying Sept month on time. Windows, Replacement

Sloppy window installation. Glue particles left all over yard and on windows. Request to management to clean. Management said they were not window washers. Sliding glass door promised in 4 weeks took 8-10 weeks or more due to incorrect measurements then installed incorrect door. Nightmare! Paid over $8000 cash same day of installation, now company threatening to take me to court/collections for $868.00 owed for sliding glass door fiasco. Should have used WIN-DOORS like everyone told me to. Would never recommend Fine Finish Windows/Doors. The worst MANAGEMENT I've ever dealt with. read full review »

Currently watching how they seem to be attempting to harass and cheat an elderly neighbor. A 73 year old widow whose house took a battering in Hurricane Ike. Currently they are attempting to force her to sign a waiver which claims that NONE of the damage to her property was caused by Ike. If this was so then none of the damage or the flooding that any of her neighbors suffered was also to do with Ike. Placed a good faith order with this company on 21 Sept 08. No parts have arrived. My thoughts were that two weeks was not normal ground shipping for this company. When I checked this companies contact information and attempted contact with them, I received no response. I have emailed and called with no answer for the last week. After checking this company with BBB of NJ I have decided that my $65 is gone but will leave this complaint in a faint hope for redemption on their part. I live in a small condominium that had Conservice as the submetering company. For three years our meters have never worked right. They were just billing each unit with a property average. That is a legal way to do billing, but it is not what we wanted. We wanted to bill individual usage. Now they claim they are not responsible for the meter installation, but if they knew all along that the meters were not working properly and kept dismissing several complaints. We stopped using them and now share the electric bill between all units. I would like to try another submetering company, but I am leary. read full review »

Going on three years now that we hired Oliverio Home Improvements, 1400 Methyl Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Owner: Bill Oliverio. Hired to do renovations and were paid. Work is still not finished and we will see them in court. Warning-don't pay in advance of work completed satisfactorily. Did not know at time, that this is really just some guy and his sons working out of their house - no official training. No certifications. Many good home improvement businesses in the Pittsburgh. Called to get price to fix clogged sink...Kim at office said it would be $a 75.00 service call but if we did the repair then they would waive the 75.00 and the price would be 200.00 to use a snake and drain sink. Once here it was 275.00 and they would not waive the 75.00 like Kim said. The sink was unclogged and it took them less then 15 minutes to get out the clog. We ordered a dining room suite online from Leons. We had hoped to see it at our local store but were advised there that this particular suite was offered online only. Having had very good service at Costco.ca regarding full returns/shipping we assumed Leons would be no different. We were very wrong. This guy thinks he is some amazing person, with his great presentation, yet the roof he installs does not last, he is not approved to provide a warranty and he has no factory training. If i didn't know better, he would be odd job bob. gives everything a try, but hes no good at anything. sure he has been in business for a while, doing siding/doors/windows/roofs/etc... i don't know about you, but i don't hire an electrical to rebuild my car and i wouldn't recommend hiring this tart to do my roof either! ask for the proper paper work during your project to protect yourself! read full review »

I purchased a DW mobile home last year, and was ripped off. I was told the home I was purchasing was a upgraded model and everything from floor to ceiling was upgraded. That was false. I contacted Wayne Frier Homes in Tallahassee, FL to let them know that the carpet I got was very low grade. They denied that they told my husband and I that it was upgraded. Then the sales person was rude and started yelling at my husband. We wrote a complaint to corporate office and they didn't do anything. Buyers beware. Thursday night (10/2/08) at 7 pm we called Roto Rooter to have them clear the sewer line that had backed up into both toilets. My wife asked what the cost would be and the lady said she couldn't tell us until they were through. Since it was at night it would be a premium charge. We understood that and told them to come out. They are the absolute worst - get more for your money by buying at Ikea - or a custom shop, less headaches and less aggravation. A total *** job, was sent broken cabinets glued an inch apart or not glued at all. Fell apart when I opened them, doors missing, hinges missing. What a mistake, a total disaster this company is. Don't listen to the design center at Home Depot - even they don't have a clue what they are doing. You'll see if you order them... take your chances, I loathe them and Home Depot. My husband and I went into our local Ashley furniture store for a tv stand and walked out with $4000.00 worth of furniture. A tv stand, loveseat, sofa, rocker/recliner and three stands. Six of the seven pieces had issues with them. I went to their offices today (a rainy day) and had the displeasure of having a conversation with the owners to collect a past due invoice. Do not use Sears repair! They had 2 consecutive days of no show, and all they had were excuses. They were polite on the phone, but they did not offer any compensation for 2 wasted days. I purchased a garbage disposal and a service contract to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. The service man did half the job and said the wiring was in bad shape and it should be looked by a electrical repair person. He said that this report would be turned into the Sears repair service and the will call me and tell me what they are going to do. I received no call. i bought a servis washing machine, installed it and tried to do a test wash, the machine did not work, contacted servis who sent a engeneer out, he told me it needs a new mudule which im still waiting for after 3 weeks, havnt even done one wash, everytime i ring it takes 20-30 minutes before they answer, im trying to explain to them iv paid for a working washer not a fualty one but it seems the aftersales people dont seem to understand or care, they dont listen to what you say and are rude. this is not my first servis machine but definatly my last read full review »

I was charged $221.00 on my credit card for cancelation on service when I never canceled service. I was not warned of cancelation and have paid for services regularly. The owner said my fiance told him to cancel our service. The service is in my name, I signed the agreements, the credit card account is in my name and I am the customer they are doing business with. They were not authorized to do this and did it without any notification. My fiance never told them to cancel service and neither did I. THey kept telling us they could have our floors installed by a VERY SPECIFIC DEADLINE we gave them, kept saying, "Oh we have that in the warehouse, it won't take more than a day to get it done"- Turns out the warehouse is in another state, and they have to ship and then acclimate before they can install the floors. Long story short: On 3 August I ordered a coffee table from CoffeeTableSuperstore.com - one of Mercantila's "companies". They delivered the table base on 19 August, but the glass table top was broken and the FedEx guy said he didn't even put it on the truck because glass was falling out of the box. What a nightmare trying to get a glass curio cabinet from CSN stores. I ordered in July '08 and finally resolved the issue in September after relentless tries of trying to get this cabinet delivered. First delivery they brought it in sections and the installer asked me if I knew how it went together! That should have been my first clue. In July, Jenkins Brothers construction began removing tile from the lanai of the condo unit adjoining ours. Friends were staying in the condo at the time and stated the noise from the jackhammering was distressing and close to unbearable. It continued for three days.
