This entire purchase has been a nightmare. They damaged the doorframe bringing in the refrigerator, one man came to install the microwave and dented the vent(chipped the cabinet, also), the control panel on the microwave never was right and it took THREE months to get a new one, the person that installed the dishwasher left the hose too long and when another person came to fix that-he broke the soap dispenser! I purchased an almost $3, 000 leather reclining sofa and chair & 1/2 from La Z Boy exactly a year ago. After 6 months there was noticeable wear and chaffing of the leather on the seat cushions. They came out and replaced the seats, then shortly after the seat started showing wear and chaffing on the chair (that was used less). They replaced that. Bought $17000 in kitchen appliances in March 2008 from Sears at Montgomery Mall, Bethesda, MD. Everything came except the refrigerator which was scheduled later because Kitchenaid required their own installation and only after the cabinet to house the built-in fridge was built. Absolute rubbish service. 4 month old Fridge freezer broke down had to stay in 8am-6pm to wait for an engineer and then it needed a part. I bought a microwave of Samsung make 37 liters. It started giving out smoke after few months. First, the Sales Guy in Major Appliances was excellent and handled this to the best of his ability, as with two managers within the store. Order placed on Boxing Day 2007, first thing in the morning. To Whom It May Concern: We recently purchased a mattress from Boscov that we feel is defective. It has a weak spot on one side and a ridge down the middle. We complained to customer service and a person came out to inspect the mattress. The person who came out to see it acknowledged the weak area, but Boscov claims it is within manufacturer's specs and refuses to exchange or replace it. I cannot sleep comfortably on the mattress and cannot believe that the ridge down the center and the irregularities in firmness across the surface are up to any standard of quality. Perfect Flame Split Lid Grills have been recalled and are dangerous. I just bought one for my husband for Father's Day this year and the Friday after July 4th he went into the hospital. Sir I am a consumer of Indane LPG (No.19844) through MC. GAS AGENCIES, CHANDAKKUNNU, NILAMBUR, MALAPPURAM, KERALA. The agency takes more than 30 days to provide the delivery of refilled LPG cylinders. When make an enquiry to the Agency they will blame the Indane Company. CenterPoint Energy rightfully shut off my gas service and I have no complaint about this, as I was completely in the wrong for failing to make my payment. However after 5 years of service and no previous mishaps, I as completely floored by the fees associated with reconnections and their reconnection schedule. When the sales agent came to see me, I was upfront and honest by letting him know that I needed carpet strong enough that the cat could not pull out any carpet fibers. I purchased a barbecue grill from the Fortunoff store in Southampton a couple of months ago. Within the first week of purchase, I noticed water stains on a few of the surfaces of the grill which would not come out at all, although not all of the surfaces. This place couldn't set a time to install the drive and took over a month. Then when they do the drive they messed it up by putting in the wrong culvert pipe 24ft, not the 26ft as agreed to. We had agreed to a diagram of what exactly was to be done, none of it was done correctly. They were very rude and said they would only accept payment when work was done correctly.
