We purchased a LG bottom mount French door refrigerator in 2005 we also bought a 5 year extended warranty for the fridge. There is a 3 year lemon policy. I had my historic home painted in Jan. of 06 by Procraft Midatlantic. It cost me $17, 850.00. The job was warranted for 25 years against cracking, fading, chipping or mildewing. Less than 2 years later, I have chips, cracks, rusty nailheads and some of the caulk had fallen out. I have been calling the company (now Liquid Siding of Maryland, LLC) since March of 08 trying to get someone out here to fix the problems. All I get is promises of return calls, but they never come. I am done with Solar Lights. For years now I have tried to do my part and that always included solar yard lights. Does not matter what brand or how expensive. They only last about a year. We hired and signed a contract with Ubuildit Bethesda to help us with building our dream home in Arlington Va. Ubuildit started out strong and very helpful. I purchased a Kenmore Elite Oasis washer and dryer in July 2007. My washer was beeping the other day and it would not work. Sears sends a repair guy who spent 2 hours installing a sensor and another part. THen he spent 1/2 hour in his truck in my driveway (all the while I am missing hours at work). He then told me it was the motor that needed replaced and my total bill at this point is $621. My washer is only 14 months old! This is ridiculous! Richard Stokes the owner owes me $60, 000 all work was complete When i ask about my money Stir says the have not been paid but yet the owner Richard Stokes has new cars just bought a new house this is not fair. These guys are all over Florida. My roof leaked in places it hadn't leaked before they worked on it. After a couple years of problems they said the warranty expired. Mind you they job was never done right and though they did come back a couple times it was only after repeated phone calls. My new roofer had to tear out all their work and start again. This is the biggest rip off Furniture Store in the State of Massachusetts. They do not return calls, they lie through their teeth. You never get all of your furniture delivered at one time. Horrible work was done by Bath Fitters on my parents home. These are rip-off artists of the worst kind. My mom contracted Bath Fitter to install a tub and wall liner in their main bathroom for $3500. I picked out a Sofa and Loveseat and was assured I would not be getting the floor model rather a new set from the backroom. Called Maytag's 800 # and spoke with a very kind and empathetic agent who arranged a service appointment with A&E Factory Service for somewhere between 8-5 on Monday, 9/15. I bought the pool in 2003 at ACME Pool Supply in Yuma. For problems, Acme referred me to the Upland California for warranty. I obtained the email address and contacted them on 11/30/2007. We have a new $4000 refridgerator from Viking that was already here when we bought this new home. My wife is a kitchen designer and those in the know never recommend this brand. The word in the industry is that they spend all their money on marketing and little on R and D.
