Ashley Mattress
I purchased a California King Mattress & Box spring (Pillow Top) for roughly $1200.00 plus $75.00 for delivery in March of 2009. The Mattress is 2 years old and has already indented on the side that I sleep on. Lumps & Bumps every where. I contacted Haynes after care department, I filled out all the forms, took the required pictures. I was told that Haynes couldn't help me because I did not have a metal frame with five legs. It was never offered. Company never disclosed that this is a requirement to redeem warranty. On top of that my frame is made of solid oak which has a solid oak middle beam and slats for support. Got a meat drawer in the freezer thats to narrow and will not stay in the tracks.Lowes extended warranty will not cover it, they say its cosmetic.I know I waited to long to pursue this but a warranty is still a warranty even though it runs out in Aug, 2011.This drawer bin was either the wrong part installed at the manufactures end or it was switched at the store for another refridgerator missing one.i can't believe this is a cosmetic issue but a wrong bin put in my freezer.Lowes and their warranty company is trying to get out of fixing this. read full review »

I bought a corner couchsofa from Weylandt Fourways last year October. The sofa arrived 8 wks later. On inspection, I noticed that the sofa and the daybed were not joining together properly ( the seams were not joining up) and that the there was a colour difference. In April 2010 I purchased from NFM a Lane Double Reclining Sofa from the Astro Collection. There was to be a one year guarantee on the item. In December 2010 a rod from the seat had torn through the upholstery and was poking my daughter in her leg. This rod had also torn the upholstery on the adjacent seat in the center. I have the same complaints as all the others. The latch broke off, have to jerk the door open. The prongs on the racks are rusting off. It makes a horrible groaning, grinding noise, possibly a motor or belt. The decibel level is 64-66 depending on how bad the noise is. It also runs for about 2 1/2 hours. We purchased 9 appliances from Sargent Appliance, Rochester, Mi which were installed in December 2005 (approximately $13000). We also purchased extended warranties on 5 of those appliances through Sargent Appliance. We were not given a copy of the warranty to read prior to purchase but were told it covered everything with the exception of damage caused by mistreatment. The warranties are good for 4 years in addition to the 1 year manufacturer’s warranty with the expiration being Dec 2011.

This people at $100 for line, is no cheap but also didn't finish the job well. I got a main sewer line clog with roots. Typically I clean/kill roots every year or two and is good. This time the guy cleaned a first spot with roots, then he didn't went thru to test the whole line and left a second spot that started cloging my line under two months after his visit. They are forcing the customers to buy the xtra premium petrol by telling the customers that normal petrol is not available. ADT came to our house to do an installation with NO EQUIPMENT! They had no ladders or drills - these are surely basic installation tools for an alarm system? Don't shop at Lenny's! We purchased an Ashley leather reliner sofa plus the 7 year service plan for over $1300. Fifteen months later the sofa started to peel in several areas. The Guardsman service plan would not cover peeling so I went to the Lenny's owner/manager. I showed her photos of the defective areas. She stated that "it was a shame" and offered to put me in touch with a repairman who could come to my home and repair it AT MY OWN COST. Paddock pools
We had pool built in 2005, so with a five year warranty it does not help when the pipes under ground start leaking six years after construction. You would think with a house hold name like paddock they would use high quality parts and contractors but that's not the case. I would never suggest paddock to anyone looking to build a pool. This is not the only problem we have had but it's the most recent.
