Who claims I signed up for their service on August 10, 2010 under a verizonmail address. After checking my records and history on computer, no such, service is found, plus verizonmail was taken down June 26, 2010, because of Spam + Cons. I made an appointment with A & E throught the Home Depot extended warranty dept. for service between noon and 5: 00 pm on September 28. The appointment was scheduled on Sept 13. I took 1/2 day vacation from work to attend the appointment. At 2:00 pm on the 28th, the A & E office called and said that no technician was available. Therefore, I lost vacation time. I told Home Depot that i refused to use them again and they are trying to find another vendor. The tech gave me the price for a new hot water heater and said that I also had to have an expansion tank installed because it was a government code and required. It was an extra $220. Terrible Customer Service- AE Appliance repair was sent by HH Gregg to fix my washing machine. They got to my house and realized that my washing machine was 3 days over the 1 year manufacturers warranty. Of course I had purchased the 5 year extended warranty but they still wouldn't fix it. The repairman told me that it would only take about 10 minutes to fix what was wrong but I would have to call and set up another appointment with them to come back out.
