Luminess Air, LP
DuPEdiNhOuStOn April 14, 2010
Recently I too purchased the so-called "revolutionary Luminess Air Makeup system." I must say, I was not the least bit impressed with the product, nor the price. Here's why, I found that these products were not formulated for the various African American shades as seen on TV. It was a complete waste of time and money, reason being that of the 6 vials of makeup received, I could only use one (Matte #8) since I am a caramel complexion. In addition, I also received a pearl shimmer, a pink blush, and a bronzer that I could not use on... read full review »

I ordered hair bows from this company on Nov. 25, 2009. One hair bow was for Christmas, which I got after Christmas so my daughter didn't even wear it. Bows came over a month after ordering them and threehair bows were missing from my order. They said they were on backorder. I waited a month for them to be shipped and nothing. I contacted thecompany through email and asked for a refund. They agreed and said it would be in my account within 48 hours. This was over a month ago. Here it is over four months since I ordered the bows and... read full review »

See the first complaint lodged with this company. Bought the Major Medical plan with this company on 3/11/10, waited the 8-10 days, no cards or information, called several times, agents not returning phone calls, finally got my agent on the phone as he made the mistake of picking up. No idea why the policy information wasn't in my hands yet and after some yelling, got a phone number and name for SDS to contact. That contact (Stephanie Wells) proceeded to tell me that the Major Medical coverage didn't exist and all they had was the... read full review »

Medco did a “bait and switch”. Upon enrollment they sent me a formulary which included disopyramide phosphate ER at $6 for 90 days mail order. I placed the order immediately upon receiving this formulary. They filled it instead with the non generic version at $173 for 34 days without even informing me. The prescription as written was for Norpace CR 300 mg. This dosage does not seem to be available and is substituted by 100mg x 3 or 150mg x 2. Norpace CR 100mg was in fact available in Medco's formulary as a tier 2 drug at... read full review »

Campbell's Chicken Gumbo Soup
Bekb April 13, 2010
When I opened the can of Campbell's Chicken Gumbo Lite Soup, I was horrified. It was all water with no broth and chicken, just a bit of rice. It tasted horrible and ruined my casserole. What's worse, is that I called the customer service phone number listed on the can and I was to be chared $3.75 just to talk to them! How outrageous and what extremely poor customer service! So, I, like most of you, found this "job offer" on Yahoo Hot Jobs. I fell for it at first, hoping to actually get this job, as I'm going to school. I passed their sample they wanted me to transcribe, no problem. I was told I had a gauranteed job with them and to go to their live chat to conduct an interview. And, this was all in the last few days! Before my chat interview, I did my research 'cause they wanted $60 for books, but I was thinking, what about the software they told me I need?? I used to be an events manager for them in southern california. his strategy would be to hire people off craig's list, tell them they would get their first check in about three weeks, in that time they would work multiple events unpaid, and when it was time for them to get paid, it would take a few more weeks and lots of phone calls to get them paid. finally the vendors would stop working and he would hire more and do the same thing, occasionally his checks would bounce and it took threats of law suits to get them taken care of. they also... read full review »

I've been trying for weeks to get a prescription from Walgreens Mail Service Pharmacy . This service is being offered to members of AARP. To begin with they are very S-L-O-W. (We have also dealt with Prescription Solutions through our plan with AARP and their service is blindingly fast by comparison and we have never had issues with them in any way. The only reason we went with Walgreens for this prescription is because it is not covered under our Medicare plan and it was much less through Walgreens. This company JACKS up their prices then puts them on sale to make you think you are getting a good deal. All three store are not run the same. Sales are not the same. You will find a stand of beads for 18.00 dollars at one location, then you will find the same strand of beads for 10.00 dollars at another location. If they have a sale they jack everything up first to make it look like your getting the deal of the century. Don't Be Fooled. I visited the office of Dr. Larry Rigo to have contact lenses fitted, as I am nearsighted. After the exam, he told me that I was so slightly nearsighted that there was not even a prescription that was made for me. He said there was no reason I could not just live without contacts to see. I just couldn't believe I was totally dismissed. I then made an appointment with another eye doctor for a second opinion. This eye doctor said that I was actually quite nearsighted, fit me with contacts, and I left the office seeing perfectly. I don't know why Dr. Rigo didn't want me to see well. read full review »
