1. When I signed the contract (paid in full) in January of 2008, I specifically asked how the contract could be cancelled. I placed an order with this merchant on 12/13/08. I live in the same geographical area, (The Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex). Shipping should take no more than 2 days. Today is 12/19/08 and I have recieved no shipment, no tracking number, no indication the product has been shipped. I have called the only number available on the website at least 50 times this week and get no answer and cannot leave a message because the voicemail is FULL. I called to cancel as indicated on the little piece of paper that accompanied the bottle of Acai and, of course, they had already charged my credit card and would not credit my account. Ordered a necklace from the company on 2nd December and paid for next day delivery. Received a confirmation e-mail of the order and that a dispatch/Royal Mail tracking number would be issued later in the day. My account was debited for the correct amount immediately. This company posts ads on seemingly legitimate websites, using Oprah Winfrey and Newsmax as fronts. They promise a free sample, but buried in the fine print they charge your credit card for an exorbitant amount, even tho they also promise you can try it and cancel, but it doesn't show up for two weeks and then you only have 15 days to try it. Fake UGGS. I purchased a pair of Ugg boots for this site. It turns out they were made in China. I joined this ABC workout fitness center and after few monts I discontinued the service due to the poor quality of their facilities. However I am completely unable to terminate my contract. Offer stated that I would receive a 30 day free trial and only have to pay for shipping $7.95. To avoid charges of $89.95 each month, you had to cancel within 30 days. I received the product and when i tried to cancel within the 30 days they tried to tell me I would be charged $49.95 cancellation fee. They tried to tell me that it was part of the terms and agreement. If I waited until after a 20 day period, they would waive the cancellation fee but I would be charged $89.95 for the "Free" 30 day trial. I went to Britesmile in Phoenix and had my teeth whitened. While I was there I purchased a gift certificate for another trip. Meanwhile, Britesmile closed their offices in Phx. and never notified me. Ordered two of these Snuggie blankets and two booklights. After a month, received the blankets but no booklights and nothing in the package: no invoice or other explanation of where the lights are or why I didn't recieve them. No way to get a person on the phone. They do not provide an email address for correspondence. Wonder why not? This company is a scam. They will tell you they are located in CA, USA. No other address. No phone number. The only way to contact them is by email. Their merchandise ships from China but you are billed from Europe. After ignoring my question on the authenticity of the boots I had purchased they finally responded and told me they sold me Deckers Uggs and they were an authorized dealer. Complaint about the 2 week closure of the GLL leisure centres in Waltham Forest. I regularly attend Kelmscott Leisure Centres as it is within walking distance to my home. Staff have informed members that all centres within the Waltham Forest area are closing for 2 weeks over the holiday period to save money. This is completely unacceptable; I pay a monthly membership to keep up with my exercise routine and the company has decided they need to save money.
