I would like to file a complaint on the Fuquay-Varina Peak Fitness and the whole corporation. I was conned into a contract by the staff at this gym. I was told that i was paying for one year and getting a second year free and come to find out this was false. I also was never informed on the firefighter dicount after telling him many times i was a member. I purchased a small inexpensive item (heel cups) from footsmart and received it on April 30th. It was not the right size and had to return it on May 1st for an exchange. I had to pay $6.99 extra for the exchange service. I called footsmart to find out the status of my order. They said it is due to arrive at their warehouse on May 19th. This is unbelievable! On April 21, 2008 I placed an order online for a pair of boots. I finally received them on May 2, 2008. I opened the package and to my disappointment they were size 10 and I ordered a size 8. The flip-top cans are no help to us older folks with weak fingers. I have to pry up the tab with a blunt knife because my fingers aren't strong enough to pull it up. Then I have to use the knife to slide around the lid to release it for the same reason. Then I have to wash off the blood where I cut myself on the lid. And finally the can rib prevents me from getting quite a bit of the contents out unless I puncture the can's side with an old v-point can or bottle opener. We signed up while the new gym in Olari was under construction. They said there would be a pool. They are trying to model the business on USA type gyms, but they don't teach USA type customer service to all of their staff. My wife and I wanted to cancel, they said we can not. Even though we did not get what we signed up for, when I spoke to customer service they said they would have to sue in court or have debt collectors pursue us. Don't go there unless you donate lots of money to the hospital because you won't get the same treatment as those who do. I have personally been told to take a patient who gave money over one who didn't even though the other patient had been waiting longer. We were often told to "give them whatever they wanted" but the other patients did not get the same. Few days ago I bought from my CVS store the newly advertised Osteo Bi-Flex advanced triple strength with easy to swallow coated caplets (price 35$ for 80 pills), but to my surprise the easy to swallow are not so easy. I had a IPL photo facial there which was done incorrectly and damaged my skin. The settings were to strong and caused fat loss in my face. My skin is now perpetually dehydrated and I look at least five years older. My face can no longer retain moisture. Shizuka's customer service and attention to my problem and complaint was more than lacking. They maintain I was "the only ever to complain", and that they "can't control the aging process"... they were not interested in helping me with this difficult situation and brushed me off. This Company is very unprofessional and has poor patient care. The assistants walk in and out of each patient area, joking and laughing with each other which was very unprofessional and erased any feeling of privacy. We had purchased fishing line at K Mart and the package had an advertisement for free fishing hooks, coupon enclosed. We opened the box and when we looked at the coupon, the last date that it could be used was December 31, 2003. I don't think that K Mart should have been selling something that was over 4 years old. On 3.23.08 I ordered a prescription from RX Online (http://medsorder.net/). They sent me a tracking number through USPS but the package was delivered to someone in Texas and I live in California. It sounds like a legitimate marketing company with an opportunity to 'move up quickly" within the company. They are not who they say they are. This shop never give proper detail transaction receipt to customers. Very dissatisfied with liposuction/smart lipo on upper arms. They are still the same circumference almost a year later.
