Attempted to cancel my earthlink access on July 31, 2008. Earthlink billed my credit card 5 days later for the next monthly payment. Contacted customer service, they informed me that my service was from 7/30 to 8/30 and that my account would be consider closed as of 8/29/2008. This of course, was not the story I received on 7/31/2008. I was assured on July 31st my account would be closed as I requested. read full review »

We have belonged to Shell Vacation Club for several years, only purchased a small number of points because thats all we can use, time-wise. So far it's been ok but they will nit-pick you for every nickel they can get. We had an emergency come up and had to cancel a planned trip (over two months away) and had to pay a $25.00 "transaction fee". My advice is stay away from them. read full review »

I paid over $200 dollars for my brand new cell phone. Instead of redelivering it to my house, they decide it would be a good idea to leave it way down the street with a neighbor i have never meant. I am so pissed!! So now the courier is going to come to their house tomorrow to try to retrieve the package. I walked down there and they won't answer their door, the lights are on and i know someone is home and they won't answer. This wouldn't have happened in the first place if FEDEX would follow delivery instructions and deliver to only the person on the account. I HATE FEDEX!!! read full review »

My daugther bought one of the french manicure kits from target. The kit consists of a white nail polish and a pink nail polish. When she opened the box to take the polish out the bottles broke. They were pacakged so tight that they just cracked there was glass and nail polish every where a total mess. I email the company sally hansen 3 times. Commerials, especially the ones that degrade men, disgust me!!! I am so tired of hearing how stupid husbands or boyfriend are...like they have no brains in their heads, no minds of their own. Like not being able to look in the refrigerator, to box of whole wheat cereal telling the husband to "shut up Steve". What irritates me more is Billy Mays and his LOUD mouth. Dex rep used a bait and switch tactic to sign up my wife for an ad in the yellow pages. The original quote was a yearly quote but when we talked to the phone agreement the price was for a per month charge which was higher than the original bid. We did not catch the trick for months. We paid over the price for the original bid. They sent me to collections for the rest of the money. This happened in 1-04. They are still harrassing me. I contacted Eagle Van Lines by their website and scheduled a move with their company. The movers came on my requested move date of Aug 9th. They packed up all my stuff from my small apartment, and a few things at my mothers house. The driver; Colby asked me what day I wanted my belongings delivered to Oklahoma; I picked Aug 21st. I believe everyone who can should donate to the many causes out there that need help, yes please chose one or as many as you want but never and I mean never donate to ANYONE you calls you. Let them identify themselves, demand to be removed from ALL their call list and tell them you are going to contact the Attorney General. After I signed all the paperworks, they came back and said "we can't release the vehicle because we don't have the title in hand". We made an offer on a single family home in Towamencin township on May 16th contingent on a successful home inspection with a deposit of $1000. We choose "option 1" on the agreement of sale. The inspection did not go well and we elected to continue our home search. The realtor says he cannot release the $1000 deposit to us without the seller's signature and the seller refuses to sign. I was out with a friend and ran out of cash at the club. So why not use my debit/visa right? Wrong! I made a single purchase at the bar and was given my card back. Then I check my balance online only to find out that DC's made two other charges that night on my card. This added up to 90 dollars in unauthorized charges. I experienced high pressure sales. I received repeated phone calls, morning, noon and night. They build the suspense for the rate quote and I was told I must accept immediately, or the rate will automatically be higher. They tell you it's just a deposit (for the full amount) but you have 30 days to review their policy. Got four calls, within minutes, from same supervisor, after I requested they remove my name from their calling list. They just wanted another chance to "explain". They may have a good product, but rather than focus on providing you info, it seemed they want to sell you now, and hope you don't cancel. read full review »

I placed an order on May 17, 2008 online at www.GWbeauty.com. I didn't receive any email confirmation after one week (normally it's sent right the way), thinking my order didn't go through. In May of 2008 my organization purchased a GBC Heatseal H425, Unit took about a half hour to warm up "longer" than the advertised 10 minute warm up. As much as they might repsond and say "contact us", "speak to a manager" etc. etc. they continue to have unreliable service. First, call quality on my calls to Colombia are horrible. Since I have never registered with CNN.com it's a problem loging in. Dr. Tanya Sale was 45 MINUTES LATE for the appointment. She did not apologize and only spent 7 minutes with me. This was to check my skin problem and answer questions. I was not able to ask all my questions because I felt she anxiously wanted to leave. Then THE BILL - $166! For 7 minutes! Dermatology Consultants office consulted Dr Sale and would not adjust the bill, saying it was justified. I've never felt so RIPPED-OFF in a long time. I bought a Nikon D40x earlier this year from Ritz. Ritz will try to charge you $114 to send a lens to Nikon if anything goes wrong and you did not buy the extended warranty. Even when you tell them your product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, they will argue and tell you it's not since you did not purchase the extended warranty. Upon delivery, to our surprise, two chairs were a different color than the rest of the set. We were told that they were temporary replacements as the other chairs were being ordered and shipped.
