We paid for one night for 2 rooms on priceline . I paid for 50.00 a piece for the rooms double beds . We get to the hotel which is a truck stop it sits off of Sharon Rd . I get up to the window and tell the clerk we have a prepaid room from priceline . The clerk expalined to me that they had two queen beds in each room . I stayed at this hotel last weekend, but needed to cancel the last 11 days of a 13-day stay, because I work for the military and there were circumstances beyond my control. My family stayed at the Baymont in Madison, Al May 13-15. This is the second weekend we have spent at the hotel. Saturday morning I took a shower and the water was cold. Since last 3 days i am trying to book tickets in Tatkal quoto for which i sits from 8 to 9 am. After giving try 50 times atleast ..i able to login 2 or 3 times. To inform with deep regrate that IRCTC Tatkal online (e-ticket) reservation process is of no use with session getting drop or unavailable during initial hours of it's opening period. Virtually every time you try to book in the morning at 8:00AM, session will either drop almost instantaneously, with "service unavailable" error, failing to load entire page, intermittent disconnect etc. Surprisingly access to all sites other than the irct works okay during initial period of Tatkal e-ticket reservation. The resort posts very beautiful pictures about its location but in fact it does not have any beach since it is located on a swamp area while it takes about 30 minutes walk from where they drop you off until you get to the resort. Anyone with a luggage will suffer tremendously since no one will help him/her carry the luggage for the 30 minute walk to the resort. The hotel was dirty and over booked. That was not the major complaint. Four days after I left the hotel there was a $250.00 charge. The hotel said I smoked in a non-smoking room. When I explained that I was there to run in the local marathon and I'm not a smoker, the manager (over paid cashier) refused to refund the fee. What a floating pile of (&@#!!! This was the worse cruise we have ever been on. The staff and crew are rude (with the exception of our cabin stewards because they wanted their tip). I was approached by a friend to invest in my own travel website. For $499.00 you are set up with your own site to book travel or other people can go to the website and book. Unless you recruit more people into the business you end up with a $49.00 a month website fee. Yes I did recoup my $499.00 and a few months of fees.
