In early 2010 I booked and paid for a self drive holiday (flexi Drive) that was supposed to occur in Cuba in September. "Kristine?" was very helpful up until all the payment was received and then I never received any further correspondence in spite of trying to reach them. Royal Resort and sister company QIT took ownership of Pelican Resort under questionable (i.e. fraudulent) circumstances in mid December, took as many maintenance fees for 2011 as they could, and then fired all the local workers. The well known vulcano problem. After 6 days finally out of Amsterdam. Listing could not be found but happy because I got a flight (2 hours) earlier withwife and 2 infants. Arrived in DTW. Again nothing listen. Checked in, no you have suitcases check in there. Wait. No not here you are international, over there. No not here you are now national over there.
