We arrived in Malaga Spain on a Iberia Air flight from Heathrow Business class, One suitcase arrived one missing, we completed the necessary forms and read the fine print on the lost luggage reimbursement form, three full days before you get anything. We went back to the airport the 2nd day and again kept our cool about where and when the lost luggage would arrive. They again put out a tracer on it. All Points Accommodatoins (APA) deals in deceptive practices to sel their memberships. The come on is to attend a presentatoin in return for two free airline tickets and car rental for two anywherein the US. Even though APA owns their won travel agency, after the presentation they give you a membership form from VIP travel. VIP requires an up front payment of $50.00 pe person and their rules and restrictions handcuff anyone who has nothing to do but wair for VIP tomake arrangements. we went to las vegas from nov 2-2009 to nov 9-2009 this hotel was very dirty are room had old que tips under the bathroom sink paper under the sink mildew in the bathtub carpet very dirty full of cigarette holes dirty walls safe that look like it was never ever wiped down so we did complain so they moved us next room wasent that much better then we went to leave and we were charged 57.00 dollars for parking and use of the pool used the pool once and we didnt have car i would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone read full review »

Do not buy a cruise with this company. This company grossly misrepresented the cost of this cruise. They called and sold me a cruise for $88 per person (4 days 3 nights) out of Port Canaveral. This was supposed to be a fill up the cruise rate, where I had had to send in my first three time options. Today when I called them back to set-up travel for Option 2 (they were full on Option 1) they started talking about over $120 (think was over $130 but they hung up on me before I could get a repeat) per person for Port Fees and Taxes. Noticed bedbugs the second night. Left management know of problem. When manager called he offered one nights refund. I requested a full refund. Also room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, had to go to a different floor to get ice and it took 10 minutes to arrange for a wakeup call becauuse the clock radio in the room was not functioning properly. In addition, the bed in the room was very hard and not as advertised in their writeup. I will not be staying in a Microtel any time sooon. read full review »

Having booked and paid best@travel for our holiday in Langkawi in early May 2009, including accommodation and meals, we were shocked to be told by our hotel on arrival they had not been paid and we would therefore be responsible for all hotel costs, including accommodation and meals. I bought a ticket from farecrawler.com for a flight from Los Angeles to Istanbul, flying Air France. After entering the passenger and credit card information, farecrawler.com came back with a completely different itinerary, using a combination of other carriers and stopover locations. I was forced to check-in my carry-on luggage at Nagoya Chubu airport and had to pay the extra baggage fee at $250 which is extremely expensive. The local representative insisted my baggage is over-weighted but I was able to carry it onboard from Taipei to Nagoya. And I did observe other customers carrying more than 2 heavy bags in the same flight and also economy class. It is frustrating that JAL has inconsistent treatments among customers and airports. I was mislead to enroll and became a member, thinking that I would benefit for my travel needs and found out that there were a lot of information that was not clear and basically it was false advertising and Improper selling tactics. I have been working in the Hospitality industry for many years and NEVER in my career have I come across a property so poorly managed as this one. They do not honor reservations because they can not keep rooms maintained and cleaned, they treat their employees very poorly and are very discriminating. If you are not a young female you are not intelligent or capable. I have never seen anything so appaling as this manager. We were told before our shipping date that Cazumel was not going to be one of our stops. We understood, it was the swine flu. Fine, than a day before we were to go to Roatan, Honduras, we were told that port will be missed, since there's some sort of demonstrations going on there. My mother and I took a cruise with Royal Carribean Cruise Lines in May of 2006. When we first checked into our room, we found that the toilet did not work and for the first half day, we were unable to use the bathroom in our room. We have been unable to get resolution with LHVC over an upcoming reservation. We made the reservation almost 2 years ago and were told in writing that we would be put in the new villas for our stay. Upon checking on our reservation in September I was told that there was no guarantee. Since that time I have tried to contact the Jackie Bramhill, Customer Service Manager, to no avail. She will not answer my calls or emails. When I contact the resort they will not tell me who is in charge and get me to that person. The runaround continues and the trip quickly approaches. Last night i was in a hotel with my girl friend and we ordered a club soda and a coca cola, when we opened the bottle so my girlfriend could take some pills and when she swallowed she new there was bleach in the bottle . My staff and I stayed at the Days Inn for business purposes upon arrival we were told that we only had reservations for 4 rooms when our confirmation clearly showed 5. The clerk looked it up in the system and stated that her info showed 4 rooms I showed her our reservation she stated that it must be tour travel agency. This place has the worst customer service ever, and what is most shocking is that the owner of the agency provided it! I asked whether there were any flight specials and she ignored me to set up a customer profile. When I asked if I could inquire without providing all my personal information, she said she doesn't want to waste her precious time serving me if I wasn't going to do business. Then she refused to answer any further questions except to ask my details. It was like an interrogation and as a customer I did not need to feel lectured upon how you do business so I walked out.
