Without Prejudice. 43 people arrived at Airport and waited almost 3 hours to be picked up and transferred to hotel 10 minutes away. John E Goodson never even picked us up. The hotel shuttle came for us in two lots. Whilst checking in I had a man come and ask me if he knew who John Goodson was and I said I think that's him. This place has the audacity to charge $159 at non-peak times for rubbish. The only thing you are paying for is a pretty lobby. There is NO parking! The rooms are a joke. Why have a suite with a kitchenette and not offer any silverware or plates or anything? The bathroom was the smallest I have seen even in a budget hotel! The beds were ridiculously small and hard. I "won" a trip with Mexico Paradise Vacations and paid my required $100 deposit. A few months into selecting my vacation spots, I began to be bothered by the amount of information required and the extra money they were requesting to make the booking - just the booking! I looked in the blogs and read about this scam so I requested a refund for my deposit back in April 2009. Easyjet / EasyDANGER -- Easyjet are a DANGEROUS airline. Being a pilot myself on the A320 -- same aircraft that Easyjet fly - I CAN CONFIRM, that these guys are UNSAFE! Was right in the front aisle seat and caught a glimpse of the FOB (Fuel on Board) through the cockpit door just before door closing. Ha! I purchased a ticket online from Johannesburg to LOndon via Cairo. I went via Cairo to see the pyramids on the way and break my flight. I then paid $231.00 to change the date of my flight. I called the call centre and a grumpy attendant made the booking and told me to send an email to confirm my acceptance of fees. I did so and only 4 days later when I finally received my e-ticket, that they had changed my flight time and I WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO SEE THE PYRAMIDS. Hi, My parents received a call from the marketing department to come and have a look and they visited the office of Highland Holiday Homes in Pune. There my parents were given an overview of this holiday package where one can pay Rs. 35, 000 and get several benefits. Tried Decode to hire a car in Murcia Airport, Spain. The price quite cheap but could't find any feedbacks about this company over internet. When arrived at Airport I had to pay additional 10 EUR because I picked up the car in "out of hours" time. This company promised rebates in the form of a check based on the funds saved by booking airlines and hotels through their agents for all club members. We paid a premium for our membership so we could book group travel for friends when we attend our children's sports events and playoffs in other states. We received a total of two checks for our first couple of bookings. However, we have unsuccessfully attempted to get 4 other rebates we are entitled to since March of 2008. I made a booking on this website on 28th Sep'09 with my debit card. This resulted in one error page (coz they have a buggy web design). Thinking my booking was not done, i used my credit card to avail their services. I found out later that money was deducted from both my credit and debit cards. I called back immediately and the person assured me that the money would be credited back within 24hrs. I return from my vacation after 10 days and the money is still not credited back. This place was an absolute nightmare and Rick Bennett is a complete joke!!! I have found more than 121 negative reviews not only on this mans properties but him as well! I know for a fact that as of right now he has two complaints to the Better Business Bureau of Texas and has been turned into the Health Department as well as numerous other agencies. Hi, Me and my wife dealt with this company this year and at first we were a bit skeptical. We had signed up with other companies before and wated to be sure what we were doing was the right thing. They apparently know what they are doing. They priced my property at less than anyone else told me but close to what we bought it for. We were also able to advertise the rental on the property to get us 2 additianal checks for our weeks. They are very polite and they helped us sell our property at a reasonable price. Our flight from London Heathrow arrived at Orlando International Airport via JFK at around 9pm on the 24th of August and we headed for the Dollar counter with the rental car voucher provided by Astar. To my astonishment, Dollar had not heard of Astar and the voucher did not have any value attached to it on their system. As such they would not release a car and advised me to contact Astar and try again the next morning. This company is about to run with everyone's money. Our former salesperson called to let us know we needed to hurry to try and get our $2000 marketing retainer back because all the employees were gone and they were about to disappear with everyone's pre-paid marketing. Little late in reporting this...this past June my wife and I stayed at the Crown Plaza while visiting our son for USAF basic training graduation. Let me say up front the hotel itself is nice! The rooms are nice and we throughly enjoyed our stay until the last day when we weren't specific when requesting a 2:30 wake up call...being it was approx 9PM that at night...we thought it common sense we would want a 2:30 AM wake up call! Long story short we missed our 5:30AM flight because the intelligent young man at the front desk thought we wanted 2:30PM. The worst part...they were unapologetic. I am a disabled rider and have used Greyhound MANY times with no problem. This time I filled in the boxes on their site. Don't use this company! We are 2 couples who booked cruises this summer 2009 with this company. They charged our credit cards and didn't submit payment to cruise line on time. They double charged on one card. We didn't even know there was a problem until we tried opening our cruise accounts online. We lost our balcony bookings, and had lower deck inside cabins (paid for balcony) until things got "sorted" out. I booked a flight to Amsterdam for my boyfriend to visit his son as a surprise . He travels over and back on a regular basis as he visits his son every 6 to 8 weeks. I had to cancel this flight for personal unforeseen circumstances. I was very annoyed to find that I only get €34 of my €94 I was charged... even though I rang to cancel within 24hrs.. This summer I checked into the Wingate hotel in Allentown, Pa with my daughter. I booked through expedia on the phone. I brought up our luggage with the luggage cart, went out and when I returned had more things to bring to the room, which I was planning to stay in for three days. Our room rate was quoted at $71 per night when we were charged $79.00 per night upon departure. The manager Kerry refused to adjust the bill. Upon further research we found out that the person who booked our room was fired the week before for not giving customers the correct room rates. Instead of adjusting the room rate to make good on the fired persons quote the manager ignored our complaint. Manager knew about the reservation clerk being fired and didn't acknowledge that fact to us. Very deceitful. read full review »

My husband & I booked a room at the European Village in Palm Coast, FL for a 1 night stay on a Saturday night. The resort and amentiies looked nice and upscale, we even liked our room! After we checked in we left the hotel to go see a movie in Ormond Beach. We returned to our room sometime around 10pm. Suckered into buying a time share in the late 80's in Cancun. Have paid maintanenece fees regularly till last year with out using the place even once though I exchanged it through RCI a few times with additional expenses since I could not get the weeks I wanted. Now I need to pay up front for meals at Cancun and they continue to raise fees with out any recourse. I have refused to pay for the 2008 dues and they have assigned CONCORD collection agency to collect. I have read many complaints regarding this Club.
